I've always heard GoPro made amazing products, and I wouldn't necessarily say it's a bad product, but the camera quality is just far too poor without extremely good lighting conditions to justify it's price. It seems the censors in GoPro cameras do great with perfect lighting conditions and the quality really is great, but make lighting conditions less than ideal and it does not. For example, indoors, with regular indoor lighting - the quality of video and photo drops significantly. Obviously the intended use IS for outdoor activities but it's reasonable to assume that such a "high quality" action camera should be able to handle less than ideal conditions at this price point. It did not, so I returned it.

My husband is a photographer and I wanted to get him something smaller to record his b roll. Perfect gift, he loves it.

Go pro hero 9 was an excellent purchase. Quality is excellent and it gives me great memories to share with my family !

The video quality is great! My videos come out really clear and love every feature!

Have used to film fishing activities from kayak between 1 foot above water to 3 feet below. Has stayed waterproof so far. Very cool perspective but limited visibility due to water clarity.

This is my first GoPro but it has been pretty awesome to play with the last few weeks. I have been using it to record kickball games for my league but will use it hiking, fishing, kayaking, etc soon.

Still a good option in 2023. It's not as fast as the 10, 11, or 12. However, the image quality is on par with the newer models, and it will save you $$$

Nothing like a GoPro. My 4th GoPro and this doesn’t replace, it is in addition to and it is great. Great picture quality. Using for skeet and trap of a cap and it works great. Just wish the remote worked.

This go pro is great but the battery drains fast and it randomly stops recording but maybe i need to adjust the settings or something.

I got this go pro so i have a higher quality camera for my streaming content. It workes. Need a cable connection to youre pc, but it workes.

Hero 9 will be able to record in all situations. The camera can easily react to volatile movement and can record in the dark with superview. Very intuitive UI.
