The ease of use is the greatest strength of a gopro product, everything just work effortlessly. The menu are not cluttered and just provide enough useful and click to the human fingers to use, the only gripe i have about it is that when it starts recording it gets hot really fast, but other than that it’s great, even the app is easy to use.

Great action camera with lots of bells and whistles. I’m coming from a Hero7 and the hyper smooth is better on this camera. Also, the larger sensor makes photos a little better and It brings 5K to video. The front screen is the best thing for me compared to the Hero7. Also, having the mounting system built in on the bottom means you don’t have to put the camera in those weird cages (the Hero8 also had this advantage). The cons to this camera that I’ve noticed are: Touch screen is slow and is not smooth at all. I have to press multiple times and sometimes it doesn’t react. Also, when filming in 5K the camera heats up pretty fast.

This is my very first GoPro and I have to say I’m really glad I waited until the 9. Nice touch screen, 4K 60fps, and colored front screen! I feel like that’s what I have been waiting for for a long time and it finally happened. I have taken it to Cancun, Skiing, mountain biking, and scuba diving and I am really impressed. I don’t think it’s worth buying the new GoPro hero 10 to be honest. This thing is incredible especially with the Max lens.

I purchased the GoPro Hero 9 Black directly from the GoPro website 3 weeks ago. The video quality lives up to all the hype, not to mention you get drawn into buying tons of accessories as you can tell from my pictures. Buyer beware... most, if not all, GoPro Hero 9's have a serious front microphone issue. Google "Hero 9 crackling popping audio" before you buy. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Great video quality. The compact size and water proof design was great for traveling with minimal gear.

Bought one and loved it for vlogging hikes so much we went and bought a second one. The internal stabilization is solid, menus are easy to use especially if you have been in the GoPro landscape. The self leveling feature is amazing for off road or handing it to you 4 year old so she can “film her hikes”. If you want a great all around camera with a solid wide lens this is for you.

I tried a cheaper copy cat action camera and returned it. Nothing is as good as a Gopro. I've mounted the GoPro 9 to my bike and I can't believe how clear and stable it is. It's kind of idiot proof so any one can be very pleased with their video.

Truly blown away by the video and picture quality of this little camera. If you are thinking of buying one, think no more this compact camera offers a number of great features. I myself shoot a tone of 4K and the video is flawless. A couple of suggestions on the 4K make sure you charge and carry a coupe of extra batteries it dose appear to me that it drains them a little fast. And always carry a couple of SD cards as well.

Footage is high-quality, camera is extremely compact. Hardest thing to navigate is opening the battery port, which could be good if you are trying to use it as an underwater camera. It means it is airtight! However, realized that this kit doesn’t come with an adapter for a tripod. Must be purchased separately. One other downfall is that it doesn’t do too well in low light capacity, but footage isn’t terrible.

I purchased this to take to Iceland and I was able to take some of the best photos and videos of our trip. I highly recommend this. It’s not that hard to use.

Bought this to replace a budget friendly action camera to take on vacations where we like to hike. Recently brought it on a Canyoning trip in Portugal and was pleasantly surprised on how great the video is with it's stabilization. Don't make the mistake of getting a cheaper brand, go with a brand you can trust.

Alright, so let's talk about the GoPro Hero 9. This little action camera is a beast! First things first, it boasts an incredible 23.6-megapixel sensor that delivers stunningly crisp and detailed shots. Plus, with its improved HyperSmooth 3.0 stabilization, you can say goodbye to shaky footage. Speaking of footage, this bad boy can record videos in mind-blowing 5K resolution at 30 frames per second or shoot slow-motion clips at a whopping 240 frames per second in Full HD. The addition of a front-facing display has been a game changer for vloggers and selfie enthusiasts, making sure you're always in frame while capturing your adventures. And did I mention the battery life? With its larger battery capacity, you can now keep shooting for longer periods without worrying about running out of juice. All in all, the Hero 9 is one powerful and versatile action camera that definitely lives up to the hype!

Camera and mic quality are pretty nice but the battery life span could use some work. If you plan on using this for a decent amount of time with no charge, but another battery or two. Other wise great product

Great action camera. The stabilization / horizon lock feature is all but magical. On the highest setting, intentionally violently shaking the camera still produces a stable and still video image. Video quality in daylight is amazing! -1 start for less than desirable low light performance and the software UI / touchscreen does not always respond accurately and lags. Connecting via the app to access settings and video preview is slow.
The best go pro ever, went from a hero 5 to 9. Love it cause you don't need a water proof case, although they do make a hard case for it. I haven't tried that case, but didn't need to, this camera takes very good videos and photos. The downside to go pros has always been the software. The software for your pc or phone is garbage, besides that this action camera is awesome

The perfect addition to our camera collection, great quality, and easy to use. We mainly use it for snowboarding trips and with the attachments it’s easy to ride and watch the videos in great quality later.

Worked well for our dual sport trip to Moab. Battery went dead before the end of one of our rides. I would recommend purchasing an extra battery. The unit also does get very hot. Great videos and clarity! I know all manuals are online these days, but, would be helpful to have a few basic instructions printed for the user.
