Great stabilizer, but no audio-connection!

But there is no connection to audio or external audio source respectively. This is a no-go. Can't believe that GoPro didn't activate the data-output for audio also. I had to return the stabilizer.

No Go for GroPro

I have a Hero 5 and I just love the cinematic effect it gives to my videos. So I went out and bought one for myself. Well, I guess the newer ones don't work! I've read some really bad reviews on this recently and I just thought maybe they just got a lemon. Nope. It wouldn't even stabilize. That's the sole purpose of this gadget. After updating the firmware on both the Hero 5 and the stabilizer (which by the way is stupid that you even need to do that), I get nothing but a limp... well you know. After researching this online, I found out about a huge list of other problems people were having! No thanks. I decided to just buy a competitors product that is an all-in-one video camera/gimbal stabilizer. I won't mention who but the point is I don't have to worry about making 2 separate machines work together.

I just recently got my first GoPro, a Hero 7 Silver, and being the newest, I'm shocked this ONLY works on the Black model. Talk about losing a chunk of customer base. So now I'm extra disappointed because I opened the box, and now will lose the value of my gift due to the restocking fee. I've searched BestBuy's website to see where they list what is compatible, and they don't. Poor information on the website lead to a really, really disappointing Christmas gift. My boyfriend tried to do something really nice, but clearly he didn't know because of the lack of information provided by BestBuy. BEWARE, do not buy until you verify it is compatible with your GoPro. Per GoPro's website: "HERO7 Black, HERO6 Black, HERO5 Black, HERO4 Black (HERO4 Harness required, sold separately), HERO4 Silver (HERO4 Harness required, sold separately)"
