I got the Karma grip with my HERO5 and they work great together. I experimented with it while running and bouncing around chasing the dogs and it captured nice smooth video. I was also capturing some video of a driver doing some driving training and the force of the car spinning around did throw the stabilizer off a bit. Great addition for stabilized shots or video.

If you want smooth video footage, even moving at a fast pace, this is a must. It also charges the Go pro when in use, so that's a plus.

This is a great addition to GoPro Hero 5. It makes the videos silky smooth. Very easy to use. The only draw back is there is some sound muffling.

You definitely want this if you want smooth handheld footage. It's too bad it takes forever to turn on and activate the GoPro (15-30 seconds in some cases), meaning you'll miss some good shots. It's not as versatile as some other gimbals, but you do get some nice controls on the handle. All in all it could be better but it's the best all around.

The Karma grip is great at what it does. It makes smooth videos that appear to just glide. The integration with the GoPro also adds to the feature set. It's pricey but works very well.

Pros: light weight, easy to use, professional results, and quick charging with dedicated fast charger. Cons: only works with on camera (it has to) it could've been less expensive.

Works as advertised. Excellent gimble. It would be great if the battery was changeable. the fact that the karma charges the GoPro's battery reduces the battery life. It would almost be better the other way around or the option to turn off the charging since the GoPro's battery can be easily swapped out for a a new one.

I like it just needs to be a bit quieter, batteries could last longer and kinda bulky I realize there is improvements that need to be made. I do n't like how it attaches to the drone tha is for sure.

I have been shooting videos for a few years - using DSLR, GoPro, and DJI drones. This has been a wonderful addition to the travel videos! It is super easy to use and makes the videos incredible. My favorite feature is that is continually charges the GoPro - so keeping it on Bluetooth is not a drainer anymore.

This is my first stabilizer. It is amazing. It does exactly what it is designed to do. My jogging and bike riding videos are almost like I hired a professional. Charging the battery and the camera at the same time is the best design ever. It is simple to use. It's pure fun recording your videos.

I bought this to help steady new footage I was capturing for some car shows and it turned out fantastic. There are other similar gimbals out there that work similar but the benefit of this unit is that it controls the GoPro out of the box. That makes starting and stopping recording so much more convenient. Tilt angle and follow features can all be controlled from the grip itself too. I was able to get multiple hours of life out of it by making sure to power down between recording, which was a nice surprise. There's always areas for improvement but the built-n compatibility controls and price point make it hard to beat.

Requires a little bit of time getting used to it but does a great job getting stable video

Great piece of equipment. Smooth video is easy with this. Only downside is that there are no interchangeable batteries like the GoPro cameras. When you're done with the charge on this, you have to plug the whole unit into the charger. No swapping batteries in and out.

I really don't have any complaints on the stabilization, but not a fan of the battery life and charge time. I'm not sure you couldn't do just as good for $100 less,

The Karma Grip was a great addition to the already stellar gopro hero 5. I have been impressed on several occasions when I've gone back and reviewed recorded content and found that it was not shaky at all. Battery isn't amazing but it has not slowed me down yet.

I wanted something to make the video from the GoPro 5 a little smoother. I haven't had much of an opportunity to use it yet, I'm hoping to get more use this spring. Cold weather is not kind to this device. The motors can't support the weight of the camera when the temperature drops into the teens. What little use I've gotten out of the device has been really impressive. Running with the device hand-held, the result is surprisingly smooth video. It looks more like flying than running. I'm looking forward to the extension cable being released so that I have more mounting options available.

Ease of use and beautiful output. My only speed bump was figuring out how to charge the upper portion of the grip, didn't understand why I had to charge 2 separate parts. Otherwise, I love this thing and it is a great accompaniment to my GoPro.

I got this because I have a few shoots this summer that would benefit from GoPro footage. I watched a few reviews, and figured it would be worth the risk because the price was reasonable. I would prefer a gimbal for my 5D, but my arms are better suited to working with something more compact like an a7s.... So since I wasn't going to upgrade my whole system, the Karma grip seemed like a smart way to go. The first event I used it for was a summer camp. It was perfect, because I could hand it off to much less experienced shooters and still get awesome footage. I'm headed to Ecuador next week, and I'm excited about the ease of shooting on location. It's nice and light, and is incredibly simple to use the controls. The only thing I wish was a bit better was the speed of charging. It takes a bit to charge it up, but not terrible.

I did a lot of research before buying the Karma Grip. There are other brands that make similar products that also have great reviews. Nonetheless, I went with the Karma though because almost all the video side by side comparisons it was the most stable. My only frustration is that the gimbal gets in the way of the LCD screen on my Hero 5 Black. It makes it hard to see the screen for one, but also hard to adjust settings. That being said, I have started using my phone and the GoPro Capture App to adjust my settings and find it much easier anyway. Usually the Karma grip and camera are attached to my dogs Fetch Harness anyway, it makes it difficult to adjust settings.

Amazing quality and super smooth video. Just what I was look For !!
