This is a great addition to your go pro very easy to hook up and use. It helps a lot to see exactly where your taking a picture.

When i first saw this I wasn't sure i really wanted one because it seemed more like it was for those Thrill seekers and Hike trekkers but i eventually bought one..and it's pretty awesome and the fact that you can use an App to control just about ever aspect of the camera, it's pretty awesome & so far i've gotten just about every mount there is and I have attached it to my Car Hood for some in driving action.

The GoPro LCD Touch BacPac eases the use of the Hero 4 Black. It enables you to set up your shot and saves time in editing.

It works like you think it is supposed to. Should come with camera in the first place.

Purchase to go pro hero black 3 plus a year and a half ago but really like the touch screen on the back now definitely by 1 - well worth it you can see what you're taking you can play back

Makes using the GoPro so much easier. I would suggest getting this right along with the GoPro camera. You won't regret it.

So I went shopping for a GoPro and decided I had to have the Hero 4 Black. Told the wife that since we had recently purchased a 65" 4K TV, we needed a 4K capable camera to film our dive adventures so that it would look as good as the 4K videos she had been watching. But the downside of the Black is no screen. That makes it a challenge to frame your shots, and the wife wanted to make sure she got some good videos of her since she is a new diver while we were on a reef. Sure, you can use your cell phone and the app, but there is a delay and it kills my cell battery; not to mention the cell phone won't survive dive depths. So we picked this up and shot some amazing video. The wife was very pleased to see herself in the middle of several shots on the reef. The only drawback would be the touch backpack gets air bubbles and is difficult to use when changing altitude or in a pool. The screen is also so much easier to read the the small screen on the front of the GoPro. It does drain your battery a bit quicker, but it wasn't too badly. This screen makes the GoPro so much more usable.

It great to see the picture as i video. I use the camera mostly by hand holding it and the screen makes it easier to see.

This touch screen is awesome! It makes the whole filming experience much easier!

Item works just as described and touch functions are plus and easy to access all the setting and configure ration.

I would prefer the Hero 4 Black to come equipped with a built-in screen, but great product. Con: Drains battery life

its ok but unless u have 4 battery's and never drop things while changing battery's not worth it. Battery life goes from bad to less then an hour. even when off it drains it.

Avid mountain biker. Takes excellent video. Also son uses it when he goes to concerts. Best action cam pout there.

Good for a quick view or viewing underwater video. Doesn't always power down when Hero4 is turned off, you have to shut screen down so you don't drain battery in your GoPro.

I recommend this item to everyone. The screen is awesome and allows you to review and watch all your recordings.

Loved every minute of this camera. Now I'm trying to figure out how to use it again in Iceland. Watch out for the waterproof case... Use the regular one to record audio.

I used my GoPro for a trip without the LCD Touch BacPac because I thought that I was going to be able to do everything with the iPhone App, I couldn't be more wrong because when you are in the water your iPhone turns to be useless (I wouldn't swim or surf with a LIFEPROOF case). The second trip I had the LCD Touch BacPac and finally turn my GoPro in what I was expecting, I use it all the time because it allows me to take nice pics in the water without a problem

Much the same question as with the GoPro4 itself: did you need a new BacPac? Me neither. But when up-versioning the camera, why not some of the accessories? This BacPack is easier to use than the original (with fixed buttons). I've not used it enough to comment on the additional GoPro battery drain. But if you'd like to see what your GoPro is actually pointing at and can't use the camera and your smartphone app at the same time, the BacPac is the way to go.
