Needed something so I can runs a wired mic into my helmet for my motorcycle vlogs... media mod mic is actually pretty good better than in review videos online ...must try in person.. fast shipping happy customer...

Bought this as I was looking for a better way to capture audio from my recordings. It worked quite well and the audio is amazing. Great stereo sound. I like how cleanly it integrates with the gopro.

Love this add on for the gopro! The mic sounds awesome and doesnt distort when even filming a full loud band. Also love it gives two more spots to add on additional mods to use!

This comes with a better built in mic and allows you to have a better setup with the two cold shoe mounts, making the possibilities endless. I recommend the gopro light accesory!

Completely unnecessary. It makes the unit not waterproof, exposed charging ports are seriously concerning. Can’t notice any different in the audio with the mics.

the gopro hero8 already has a mic built in, however, this attachment enhances the sound and allows for 2 cold shoe mounts as well as connecting yet, another microphone!

A must have for video production if you have a compatible GoPro. Sound is really crisp but remember it can go under water. With the buy with the new GoPro.

The media module is great for adding accessories. I connect my powerpack for our Neighborhood HOA meetings. This module allows me to connect external power to my GoPro Hero 8 without the hassle of opening the battery door. My only gripe is that the camera doesn't want to shutdown with the module attached. The media module also allows for easier handling. It gives the camera more girth to grab on to.

I got two of these also, I like accessories I guess. I wish they (GoPro) would have attempted to seal it better like on the hero 9 version.

Great for adding better audio to you videos. Specially if your planning in using the camera for vloging.

This case works fantastically for vlogging. The mic performs well and the light mod is super functional. Good value for the money. Impressive.

I thought this add-on might be frivolous. It really makes the GoPro easier to use and hold onto. Great function and design.

I really liked the idea of this and it works great. Microphone is good and the ability to mod is cool. Downsides are that it’s not waterproof and changing the battery is a pain in the butt. Definitely helpful to make the Hero 8 a more robust camera.

Got it with the Hero 8 Black for additional clarity for the audio for our in store demonstrations. Helped out immensely.

A must have for your GoPro 8 just keep in mind when you use this the GoPro is no longer water resistant.
