While the products themselves are of high quality and would no doubt be perfect for a Hero 3 or 4, I forgot to make sure they were compatable with my Hero5 Black... So I unfortunately returned it to my local BestBuy, and as always the Customer Service was A+ and took no more than 2 minutes max. to return the cost to my gift card. I wish I had written down the name of the kind woman that took care of me. Customer Service experience means a lot. I would definitely recommend this product to someone who had a Hero 3 or 4.

Any photographer will tell you the same thing, that every lens should have a protective shied or cover. The cost of replacing a scratched shield will be far less then replacing a GoPro case in the event that it is scratched. This is a simple and affordable way to keep your video clip images sharp and enjoyable to view and share.

I didn't realize there were different size housings so the lens cover is to small. Every thing else is fine.

This is a great product. It does what it is supposed to do and protect your GoPro lens. The only thing you need to be aware of is that if you use too much force to remove the cover, it is possible for your lens to come off as well.
