The battery life on a GoPro is good but having a backup is not a bad idea.

The battery works well and it is always good to have a spare. Be careful to check and make sure you get the battery for the camera you have. The sales associate said the same battery worked in both the Hero3 and the Hero4, but this battery did not work in my new Hero4. No problem since we have a 3 as well, just check before you buy,

Affordable extra battery. I have a GoPro3. Always nice to have extra batteries when out on the adventure for long hours. Small, compact and fits with standard GoPro3 battery chargers and camera.

Very compact, portable battery for the GoPro cameras. Easy to swap out. Wish it had a bit more charge longevity, but understandable with the small size and demands of the GoPro cameras.

This is a great battery, it has outstanding battery life and also chargers very quickly. Gopro nocked it out of the park with this one. A much needed upgrade from my stock hero 3 battery!

i definitely recommend having a second battery if you are going to use this camera for more than a couple hours at a time. the battery charges very quickly and is easily changed.

Definately a must for a go pro user especially those who travel and are on the road a lot. The extra battery comes in handy and it's nice to be able to quickly charge two batteries simultaneously. Note that you will still need to carry the usb cable around.

Not sure what more I can say than this spare battery works as expected and is great to have especially when you purchase an external charger so you can charge outside the actual camera. We use the camera for scuba diving and having a spare battery is a must so you can change between multiple dives. Besides reviewing this item, I would put a plug in for the external battery that allows your camera to run on both this battery and the external battery which I would also rate as excellent if reviewing independently.

No one should ever only have one battery for their cameras, especially if one will be using that said camera all day. With that being said, I recommend every GoPro user to buy a number of spare batteries. These batteries last about four-five continuous hours and they are priced around $20. I personally own 3, that way I can record all day without ever missing a shot. They're also easy to carry so that's always a plus.

I'm on my way to Europe and I bought 3 of this battery. It last more than 2 hours and I'm very confident that I won't need to recharge and won't worry to run out of battery power when I go everywhere and to any places over there!

As anyone who owns a GoPro knows, it's a great camera but it can burn through the battery quickly. I don't tend to trust non-oem batteries, so it's nice that this one is available for my GoPro at a reasonable price. Always assuring to have a second (or third) battery on hand when shooting a full day of skiing, snowboarding, etc.

I've owned this product for almost a month and I've already found myself needing is at least a dozen times. As long as you remember to charge it and have it on you, it will defiantly ease your mind once you start seeing your camera starting to die. Last almost 2+ hours depending on your settings. You'd regret not having it.

Five Stars simply because this device comes with an extra battery.. Its of strong quality and build.. It simply does what its designed to do and thats charge two batterys at the same time, quickly.. This idem is made by GoPro and lives up to standard.. Its valued reasonable, I wouldn't recommended the after market version..

i learned pretty quickly with the go pro that you have to have a extra spare battery or you will constantly have your camera charging, the batteries go dead within just a few hours of Recording, so its nice to have a few extra batteries on hand, i myself keep 3, (1) inside my camera and 2 on the dual charger that i purchased seperatly so i am never without juice when i need to capture that perfect shot or video!! gave 4 stars because they do die pretty quickly

We have been planning our sailing trip to the BVIs for nearly a year. We decided on the GoPro camera and as many of accessories that we can carry. The camera will be of no use without a charged battery. Will be taking three batteries plus the battery charger.

I am so glad I purchased this battery. I use my gopro all the time and I feel like I have to charge it all the time. The normal battery use is about 2 hours and that is not very long. Having a backup battery is very helpful.
