This sounds like a good thing to use for a violin player and someone that plays a lot of violin, but just changed mind and decided to buy something else.

This is a very versatile high quality mount like most GoPro products. It is expensive, and may not be worth it for some users. I would recommend getting if it is on sale. One thing about GoPro, their customer service is outstanding. I had a broken Session 4 cage that they replaced very quickly. They responded over the weekend and only required a description, photo, and serial number. So if this every breaks, you can trust that they will support their products with a replacement.

This works great for stationary mounting to music stands, mic stands, instruments, etc. I don't recommend use in vehicle, helmet or other moving situations as any vibration/side-to-side movement is amplified by the arm. This can cause more movement than the camera's stabilization can compensate for.

Cool for getting video of myself playing/playing. Also can get footage of my band & the audience.

This GoPro accessory is perfect for my accordion. I also have a Jaw clamp but that applies too much pressure that I was worried to use it on my expensive accordion so I decided to get the jam. And it’s perfect you add as much pressure as you want it’s as easy as using a c clamp.

very versatile for my drum set, adjustability is ok, you can mount it in a lot of areas other than musical instruments. anywhere you have something to clamp onto, pool rail, bicycle, poll deck railing, lawn chair etc.

this mount has a great grip on whatever can fit in the clamp. you can aim the camera almost any direction.

This mount works really well unless you are an active guitar player. By that I mean if you like to rock out and bring the stage presence of a rock star. The instant you try to jump up and down the camera flips upside down and faces the complete opposite direction. Other than that it performed as designed.

I broke my last (camera) mount and was frustrated I could not find the same brand. But, I am very pleased with the Go Pro. I have it mounted on my cycle handlebar for my camera. Works great!

Trying to work out a "go live" solution for our duo, Rippleton Cross, and we are using this to hang our GoPro Hero5 from a customized boom. It appears to fit this application nicely, and I'm happy we have it. It's a new addition to the set-up, so the assessment is ongoing.
