have not taken it to the max depth but i have use it numerous times and so far so good...

I can now scuba dive and take pics at the same time without fear of the casing leaking!

Best protection for diving deep waters. The camera will last forever with this case.

This was a replacement for the stock case that came with the camera, which broke. Not inexpensive, but it is sturdier than the stock case.

Definitely a must have. Caught some of the best shots underwater while we went deep sea fishing and never had an issue with water getting in. Very durable and protective

The standard housing does a more than adequate job for most water conditions, including scuba diving. However, I'd been told that the standard housing can have flooding in conditions not even near their limit (around 100ft I believe). Rather than invent in a new camera in the event of a flood, I bought this instead for added peace of mind. I've been on about 20 dives with this down to about 75 feet and have had no problems yet. For extra protection, it's worth buying the anti-fog inserts to remove any fogging or any tiny drips that may seep through.

The underwater housing for the GoPro is a great choice for those who would like to get into underwater photography but don't want to invest a fortune. I am replacing my expensive equipment with GoPro equipment because of the compactness and cost.

This case was amazing for our last dive. It is also great just for a day on the boat.

I originally purchased this housing because I was sure I would be going scuba diving, and wanted something a little (tougher) than the original housing. I was pleased to see it performed well during my use of about 30' I also purchased a red filter for color correction which i Highly recommend doing if you are going to film deeper than 5' The only reason I didn't rate this a 5 Is that the clasp seems a little flimsy compared to the standard housing. I did like that it locked, but I was worried about the durability. It does detach so I assume if it breaks it should be easy to find another clasp.... Do not expect GOPro to warranty your camera if the housing leaks, because they WONT. With that said make SURE that you clean the gasket of the housing thoroughly when opening this and closing it, as even a hair would compromise the seal and allow water in.
