I actually just started playing the game a few weeks ago. The story seems cool, but I definitely prefer the mechanics of the Batman Arkham games.

Great game for online co-op fun. However playing solo is a bit repetitive and can become tedious after awhile.

Despite what major video game outlets have said Gotham Knights has plenty of fun to be had. The secret, knock the difficulty down. It's set up to have a co-op partner but if you don't and want to have better enemy scaling just play on an easier setting.

I love the arkham games. But this is NOT an arkham game. However, the thing it shares is the frame rate. Chances are you played the arkham games on a console and enjoyed every second of that with that slower frame rate. So if you enjoyed it then you can enjoy it now. Storywise, I think it's not the strongest, but as a comic book fan I enjoy it all. You can work different cases or follow the main storyline with the court of owls. The adaptation of this court is pretty interesting because it is a cool change to see the rest of the bat family take them on. If you want to see batman take them on, you need to read the comics! I was a little worried about the fighting mechanics, because the freeflow combat is just so good from the arkham games. You can combo, bounce around and use your abilities in any combination. The skill tree really opens what you can do and combo into interesying and fun ways. I played online with another person and you really can be on other sides of the maps. I was able to do some cool team takedowns, but sometimes missed the mark because I am used to patrolling by myself. Frame rate may drop here and there but it's manageable. Flying solo can get quite challenging so it might take you a few tries to beat some of the bosses. Some of the character interactions are super cringe but oddly find it relatable as any family can have those cringey funny moments. But all in all, if you love the bat family pick it up. If you're casual, get it when it's on sale.

The gameplay for Gotham Knights feels mediocre at best, the ability focused combat is different from Arkham and will put off many people, but for me I enjoy it. The exploration on the other hand was rough, it felt like if Ubisoft gave up halfway through designing an Assassin’s Creed game. The story was well written and easily the best part of the game. Co-op works fantastically and is the source of the most fun in the game. Play the story with a friend then put it down, it’s not worth the 100% like Arkham was and like other superhero titles are

Fun game, much harder than the Arkham games but very similar to the new spider man games, like they copied and pasted the mechanics.

Great game, some unbalance among the different heros butt he games are generally fun. Not much of an end game thus the loss of a star. But the story playthrough made it worth it. I really enjoyed the ride.
When it first released the performance was rough, low FPS but a lot of that was fixed with patchs. Overall I give the game a solid 8/10

This is a solid game. It's getting a lot of flack for frame rate and not being like other Arkham games. It's fun, and there's some really cool boss fights, and you get to play as 4 unique characters. Ignore the hate, check this game out. It can be a bit grindy in the beginning, and that's why it's 4 stars.

Its an ok game to play ignoring 30fps. The studio put some time and effort in the story and trys to grab players but lets face it, it is not of the same feel as the Arkham series. The game would have been more enjoyable with more villians and possibly a different outcome to redeem towards the end. They had a chance to save the new series if the events of the ending had been different....but stranger things could have happened but still left on a cliffhanger and in the end it feels like the characters just circled around and got nowhere. If you can get past that factor i would say check it out just to return to the Gotham atmosphere. Not the greatest but playable

Everyone has the right to there own opinion on this game but its a awesome game graphics are great feels next gen to me i dont go by any of these bad reviews from most of these people igive the game a solid 10 for me no framerate issues or clunky gameplay like other people are having on my tv i know this game is 4k 30 fps but on my lg oled c1 tv it shows between 47-59 frames instead of 30 frames for some reason the game is not having glitching problems that people are saying or its not stuttering for me which i heard from other reviewers which is great i love the gameplay the combat just everything about this game yes the combat is slower then the batman games but still feels and plays great.

This game is an absolute blast. I have not played a Batman game for 7 years since Arkham Knight and this game fills that void. A proper game made for the allies of Batman to fill the hole he has left in the city of Gotham. After Batman's passing, you have the opportunity to play as either Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood and Robin as the protector of Gotham City. I have played the game for over 50 hours now and i have yet to finish the story because I am addicted to doing night patrols. I highly recommend this game if you have a friend that can tag along or if youre just wanting some deeply Batman content. I say ignore the bad reviews and get the game now or when it goes on sale because this is a near perfect game.

Not a bad game. As with mostly everyone I’ve compared this game with the Arkham games. The combat is different. You’d need to get used to the controls. Story is good.

I would say good try for WB Montreal but this is a game that Arkham series perfected. The good… GK looks okay, story is the same, its great in that it lets you choose different characters with different skill sets. The bad… it looks okay, (for the PC it looks amazing) controls can be wonky, some glitches here and there. Get it on sale

Game could’ve been better with more time given. Graphics are great, but slow frame time rates and repetitive gameplay definitely lowers its grade/score. I would wait until it’s released through PS+
