I love Batman so of course Gotham is 5 stars. You need to remember there are 52 Earths in the DC universe and this is the story of a young Bruce Wayne in one of them. No it's not the story you heard before, it's new and has many new characters then your Daddy's Batman. The people at Fox are working hard to give believable world. It's not the best show on tv but it pretty good.

Didn't miss an episode during it's premier airing during the Fall of 2014. They did such a great job with this concept of a series relating to what Gotham was like before Bruce Wayne became the "Dark Knight". If you are a fan of the Caped Crusader and haven't watched this show, you owe it to yourself to invest the time into watching this Season 1.

Some TV shows take a while to really get going. Not so with Gotham! From first episode to last, Gotham sucks you in and doesn't let go! The writing, the acting, the production value, and pretty much everything else is excellent. Gotham was definitely my favorite show of the 2014-15 season! :)

I've been a fan of Ben Mckenzie since The OC & had to watch this show knowing he was going to be starring in it. I don't know a lot about pre-Batman, but this show is great! Interesting to see them introduce each character & the story lines they come up with. Excited for season 2!

If you're into anything Batman, then this is the show for you. Fair warning, this is more about Det. James Gordon and his stance on ridding Gotham City from evil before Bruce Wayne takes justice into his own hands at the Caped Crusader. I highly recommend this to any Batman fan.

I don't care what the others say, I really enjoyed this first season of Gotham. Fun characters (the good guys and bad), interesting plots, and a enough plot twists to keep me guessing. I'm not a Batman purist, whivch might aid in my enjoyment of this dark and noir-ish program.

Great show even though some people thought it wasn't going to be good because of the fact that it's not a Batman show however it tells the origin stories of Bruce Wayne,James Gordon and the villains of Gotham City.

The second season has all the makings to be just as good, if not better, than the first, so those interested should get in on the ground floor. Also, you can't beat getting the bonus disc of special features, too!

Season one perfectly sets up a follow up season. This is not a Batman story, it's a James Gordon & Gotham City story. Some cool new characters to add to the legend, plus some old favorites.

As a fan of Batman, it is a unique take on how the story line was started. Great actinf and stories that leave you waiting for the next episode. A definite must own.

This show just shows how popular Batman is. They can make a good show about Batman and not even have him in it. The villains are good and the characters are great.

Writing is great. If you are a big batman fan you will catch the little things throughout the show that lead to future characters and their actions

I wasn't sure how much I would like a cast that I did not really recognize, but they are excellent. Once again DC has hit another homerun with Gotham like it has with the Flash and Arrow. It is more like Arrow with it being darker and a little grittier which was actually a pleasant surprise since the Batman universe is darker. Overall, well worth watching.

Been waiting for this to come on disc. Well worth it too. As soon as I'm done watching it, THEN I can start watching Season 2 and clean out my DVR.

Managed to get this on sale on an ad match and it was well worth the price, especially since it came with a Best Buy exclusive bonus disc.

I will continue to buy DVD and blu ray sets of the shows I watch and love. It is the best way to be able to rewatch my shows over and over

I never thought watching a show about Gotham without Batman would be so cool but I was wrong. Great show and wonderful mythology.

I'm a huge Batman fan! This show is awesome providing the story leading up to everything. Blu-ray looks great while watching.

This is a really nice release with awesome packaging. Haven't got a chance to watch it all but I love what I've seen so far.
