    Amazing Ebike for Daily Commutes!

I've been using the GoTrax Z4 Pro Foldable Ebike for my daily commute, and it’s been fantastic. Here’s my experience: Quick and Easy Setup: Installing this bike was a breeze. I only had to adjust the brakes a bit, but there are plenty of how-to videos on YouTube if you need help. Comfortable Ride: The ride is smooth and comfortable. I use it to commute to work, which is about 10 miles away. Google Maps estimated it would take 1 hour and 10 minutes by bike, but I consistently make the trip in 40-45 minutes, even without using the pedal assist. I mostly rely on the throttle and hit a max speed of 20 MPH. When I use the pedal assist, I've reached speeds up to 30 MPH. However, I find 20 MPH is perfect for city riding—fast enough to get around quickly but safe enough to brake suddenly if needed. When I get to work, I charge the battery. Reliability and Freedom: This bike is incredibly reliable. It gives me the freedom to go wherever I need without depending on public transportation. Plus, I save on vehicle insurance, tolls, and other expenses that come with owning a car or motorcycle. Pros: High top speed of 28 MPH Long range of up to 50 miles Easy to fold and store Comfortable and smooth ride Saves time and money Cons: A bit heavy when folded Overall, I love the GoTrax Z4 Pro for its reliability and convenience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great ebike! Design: The foldable design is super convenient for storing in tight spaces. The black finish is sleek and modern. Battery Life: The battery life is impressive, allowing for multiple long rides. Comfort: The ride is smooth and comfortable, with adjustable handlebars and a well-padded seat. Ease of Use: Assembly was easy, and the controls are intuitive. Value: Excellent value for the features and performance it offers. Pros: High top speed Long range Convenient foldable design Stylish look Comfortable ride Cons: A bit heavy when folded Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the GoTrax Z4 Pro. Highly recommended!

The ebike is good. But the tyres are weak. They get flats very easily. It is recommended to put a foam liner protection for this bike. Also the brakes get loose very often, so having an Allen key will be handy to tighten it whenever it gets loosen. My right break lever broke quite easily but luckily it wasn’t too expensive. But the speed is great and it has good suspension aswell. It’s overall comfortable and the seat is not that bad. You can always put on an extra cushion for comfort.

Not the easiest to put together as directions are not much to go by. Make sure you put the fender on with light first. Then go for front wheel. My front rotor was scaping the brake pads. Had to readjust and finally pull the rotor out more. Customer Service isn't good and no one gets back to you till 72 hours via email. No one on phone can help either. No FAQ on website as stated in email from response. If you are under 5'2 this still will be a big bike for you. Plus handle bars don't lower for shorter people either. I had to loosen screws and tilt handles down. It take 2 people to get out of box and flip bike over to attach front wheel. Very heavy bike. It does NOT go 28 MPH. Top speed with just thumb throttle is 19. Only one sprocket for gears so you end up using the highest anyway. Other than a long set up time and help moving it, the jury is out for now. Rode 5 miles tonight to get use to.

Quality is good, The manual says it runs at 28 miles per hour but it will only reach that speed with assistance not just with the accelerator so if you want to run at that speed you have to pedal a little. The highest speed WITHOUT assistance will be 19 miles per hour.

I'm absolutely loving my new electric bike! The pedal assist feature has made my daily commute a breeze, and the battery life is impressive. The bike itself is sturdy and well-built, with a comfortable seat and smooth gears. The electric motor is quiet and powerful, making hills a thing of the past. Plus, it's great for the environment and my wallet - no more parking fees or gas money! Overall, I highly recommend this e-bike to anyone looking for a fun, convenient, and sustainable way to get around.

Would give it five stars but the front tire has been losing air from day 1. I have to figure out if geek squad is going to fix it or if I have to pay out of pocket. Other than that issue it is really nice, it was much nicer in person than the pictures portray. I got it for my son and he loves it, says it’s very fast. Overall I think it was a good purchase.

This eBike offers great value by packing in all the features I wanted, including being able to fold it and put it in a car! My Perspective I used to do a lot of biking, recreational but more intense than most recreational bikers around where I lived at least. I did biking on a lot of hills, narrow paths, on road, up and down steps, and mountain biking. Since then, I don't bike often and not as rough as I used to. It was something fun for me to do and a great way to get exercise but rarely a mode of transportation. This eBike is really a game changer for me. I had to run an errand across town, into the city. I never would have considered using my other bike for that. It would have taken longer and I'm too out of shape to have done it in a reasonable amount of time without being exhausted. I had to go mow a lawn at a house I'm working on and try to get back home before the rain started. I thought I'd give the Z4 Pro a try. This worked great! I was able to use the eBike pedal assist almost the whole way, only a very short time of throttle. I biked over, mowed the lawn, and biked home. It was not dark but starting to get dark so I was very glad to turn on the front headlight and I have a red light on the back of my helmet so I felt safe. You may be thinking that eBikes make it too easy and you will not get enough exercise with it, but for me, I'm finding it enables me to get much more exercise than I would driving for shorter commutes that were still too far for my conventional bike. So again, to me, this is a game changer and I'm very excited to have the GoTrax Z4 Pro! Design It has what seems to be a pretty common eBike look but I don't mind that at all. I think it looks cool with the black and green. The small diameter tires help it to fit in a small place - see the picture I have of it in the middle of my minivan. It has a good sized black and white LCD screen that's very easy to see in day light or in the dark with the backlight on. There's a headlight too which goes on or off with the LCD screen backlight. There's an indicator on the screen to show you if the headlight/backlight is on in case you can't tell in light. The handle grips are awesome! Maybe they're common but I never had ones like this. They kind of have a build in plam rest and are really comfortable for me to use. There is front suspension but if you don't like it you can lock it so it's rigid. I like the suspension and haven't done enough road only button that I really wanted to use it with the suspension locked. The back has a generously sized storage rack mounted over the back tire. The pedals even fold to take up less room when folding the bike, but they feel strong and are not loose in any way when riding. The seat is very comfortable and easy to adjust the height of for different riders with the quick release mechanism. There are seven gears, one front sprocket and front and back disc breaks. There are 5 levesls of pedal assist. There is an handle where the seat post meets the bike frame that makes the bike easy to carry, I mean, it's 66 pounds but this makes it as easy to carry as it can be, I think, and very manageable for me. I never had a bike with fat tires before. It's a different feel but so far I like it. eBike Modes There are not really separate modes that you need to put it in, though if you have it on a pedal assist setting of Zero, you can't use the throttle or the pedal assist. If it's set on 1-5, when you peddle, the motor will kick in after about one rotation of the pedal. You can also then push the throttle down to have the motor go without any assistance from you. It has another low speed mode that I've only tested a few times. You hold down the "-" button and the motor will move the bike without you peddling at 3 to 4 MPH until you release the "-". I think it could be helpful when you're moving through a part of a trail that's more crowded but I haven't used it other than just testing it so far. As mentioned above, the max throttle speed (speed without you peddling) is 20 MPH. That can be reduced 10 MPH, I think. The peddle assist defaults to a max of 20 MPH as well but this can be adjusted up to about 28 MPH - keep in mind you must be peddling to reach that speed, but the bike helps a lot! At least one trail near me has an eBike max speed of 20 MPH, and it's pedal assist only, so you may want to think before bumping this up to 28 MPH and be aware of the rules where you are biking and then don't use throttle. At least be familiar with how to change it back to 20 MPH if you change it to 28 MPH. I do find myself changing the pedal assist between 1-5 as a ride because there is a big difference in the boost they give and depending on where you are, you will want less or more of a boost. The assist really can make most hills almost effortless, and you can always go to zero if you want it to pedal like it's a normal bike. Controls The controls are easy to use. I like the gear shift system. It's indexed so you can easily click through gears by moving the lever in one direction and simply pushing a button in the other direction. Changing the pedal assist power is simple as well, with a plus and a minus to take you between 0, for no pedal assist, up to 5, for the most pedal assist. There is Mode button as well and that changes the screen between showing current, average, and max speed as well as odometer, trip 1, and trip 2 distance. There is no time tracking on it, which would have been nice but if I had to pick I'd take the speed and distance trackers. There is a separate lever you press down for the throttle. Again, you need to have the pedal assist above 0 for this to work but then, just push it down at any time and the bike will go. Folding the Bike The bike folds fairly easily though it takes time to get used to how you need to move it and the best ways to hold it to do so. If I fold it up, it fits easily into the middle of my minivan, I took out one of the two center chairs and it fits right in there so I don't even need to stick it in the back. I tried putting it in the hatchback of my car and it didn't fit in there easily. It could fit on its side but I was trying to put it in upright and couldn't find a graceful way to make that work. If this is important make sure you check measurements of your vehicle. There is small stand just below the level of the front sprocket so that never hits the ground. If you turn the front tire parallel to the back when folded, it easily stands upright. The fact that this bike folds is great feature! I wish all bikes could fold like this. It makes it much easier to store and transport. I've included a picture of it in my minivan so you can see how easily it fits in there. Battery Life I think the battery life is excellent! I've been using it here and there for a week, gone 21 miles, used throttle and pedal assist at max speeds a number of times, and it's still at about 25% to 33% battery life from the first time I charged it! They claim 50 mile battery life and I think that's totally possible. It's probably pedal assist and not a max speed the hole time. Regardless, I'm thrilled that since I'm not usually biking very far, it seems if I charge it here and there I'll never need to worry about the battery. You can charge the battery while it's locked in the frame or take the battery out by folding the frame and unlocking the battery and then charge the battery separate from the bike. I'm sure that also means you could buy additional batteries and have them ready, just strap it to the storage rack over the back tire. In Summary I think if more people tried an eBike they would go out and buy one. It's such a great mix of something that can be very helpful and practical but also a way to get help you may need as you're trying to exercise. It's also just fun to bike on the thing! I also love seeing my max speed and how far I went. I'm not sure I care, but there is no cell phone/app connectivity to sync speed or distance info, or anything like that. The key needs to be in to use the motor, which is fine and probably good, but the key hole is in a very inconvenient spot. At least it's not in a spot where it's likely to hurt you in an accident, which is probably what they were going for. I do wish the display/trip computer had a clock and tracked the time but I love that the display is large and easy to read while riding in daylight or the dark. The manual is a bit odd and hard to interpret at times. Look over it, then just try the bike, it's easy to use, and then go back to the manual to clear things up more, and that should work fine. As an example, the manual refers to the pedal assist settings of 0-5 as gears, though the pedal assist does not change gears and is completely independent of the bike gears 1-7. Overall the manual isn't bad and does have color pictures which can be very helpful. Some eBikes offer no throttle or only throttle and have no pedals. I'm very glad for all the options the GoTrax Z4 Pro provides and think it's a great overall eBike package and value!

This is my 1st eBike, and i love it. I've done some research via YouTube reviews and never this exact bike review, but I have found its sister models F2 & F3. Seam, this is another Bestbuy exclusive. What i can say it it's much like an upgrade version with the bike rack and upgraded tires. Love the battery range and pedal assist. The bike assembly was challenging, getting front brake calipers from making noise and due to lack of instructions. If this is your 1st bike like me, I would suggest getting professional assembly and tune-up.

Setup was relatively straightforward. While I have experience assembling bikes, I would say the included directions make it simple enough for anyone to do. Assembly consisted of attaching the front wheel, fender, light, saddle, and handlebars. There is a setup guide with clear instructions/photos and all of the tools needed to set it up are included. The build quality of the bike is great. It feels sturdy and durable. I was pleasantly surprised with how light the bike is considering how heavy e-bikes tend to be. Components-wise, there is a mix of name brand (Shimano) and non-name brand parts. I found there to be low clearance on the back wheel fender; it hasn’t been an issue thus far but will be something I continue to monitor. After I figured out how to do it, battery installation was intuitive and worked well. Tip: on the drive side of the bike there is a metal cylinder; that is the mechanism that holds the battery in the top tube. So if you’re struggling to unlock it try to pay attention to the position of the cylinder. Likewise, the battery is “engaged” when the keys won’t pull out of the battery. Battery charging was super simple; the charger has an indicator light on it that turns green when fully charged. It can be charged while installed in the bike or on its own which is also a convenient feature. This bike folds really easily and gets really compact. Moving bikes like this can be a hassle so it’s really nice to only have to focus on the weight and not the shape when moving it. It was still a challenge for me to load it into the back of an SUV. One thing to be aware of if you live in a place with high theft is that the folding mechanism makes it easy for certain components to be stolen (specifically the saddle and handlebars). Both the saddle and handlebars are on a quick release mechanisms which would make me not feel comfortable leaving it at a rack unattended. The bike goes up to 20mph comfortably in pedal assist and throttle mode. The acceleration on the highest assist setting is really fast; fast enough that I can feel it pulling me forward. The pedal assist works well enough but I found it to be slow to kick on and off. The throttle works well. I definitely see myself using both depending on the situation. The suspension makes traversal over rough terrain easy and smooth, and it has a lockout mechanism if you aren’t using the suspension and want to save energy. Likewise, the thick knobby tires add additional shock absorption and increases traction. The claimed range was 50 miles but I think based on how quickly I was burning through the battery it can be less depending on how you ride the bike. Overall this is a great introductory electric bike that has all of the necessary features of an e-bike.

I am beyond happy with the GoTrax Z4 Pro Foldable Ebike, and I must say that my overall experience has been exceptionally positive. This eBike comes with a slew of fantastic features that make it a great choice for urban and rural commutes alike. Let's start with the pros: Impressive Speed: The GoTrax Z4 Pro offers an immediate speed boost of up to 20 MPH even without assistance, making it an incredibly fun ride! Versatile Assist Modes: With its 5 assist settings and an accelerator switch, you can tailor your riding experience to your exact preferences, whether you want to cruise effortlessly or get a bit more exercise and just get a boost in difficult situations. Compact Foldability: The bike folds up to a reasonably small size, which is perfect for storage and transportation. I was able to fit it in the back of my Tesla Model Y and still fold the backseats up. Safety Features: The integrated headlight and large display enhance safety during nighttime rides, ensuring you're visible to others on the road. Cargo Rack: The large cargo rack adds a lot to the practicality of the bik, allowing you to carry groceries, a backpack, or other essentials with ease. All-Terrain Tires: The all-terrain tires are a blessing for rural commutes, offering stability and grip on various surfaces, be it paved roads or dirt paths. The path from my house to the river trail is a mix of road types from paved to very loose dirt. It handled all these with so much ease that I thought I should try to ride it on the beach. And I fell lol. So I caution you to ride it in deep sand. Great Range: I managed to get a little over 20 miles on a single charge, even with my weight of 230 lbs. This range definitely should suffice for most daily commuting needs. Build Quality: The overall build quality feels mostly excellent, giving you confidence in the bike's durability. The inclusion of Shimano gears and a comfy suspension system adds to its appeal. Easy Assembly: Assembly is a breeze, taking me less than an hour to get it fully assembled and charging. Now, let's touch on the cons: Unmet Range Expectations: The bike falls short of the quoted 50-mile range, which may be disappointing for some. However, 20 miles should suffice for most users' daily commutes. As a Tesla owner, I am used to the real world range falling significantly short of the quoted range. Height Limitations: It's worth noting that riders on the shorter side, like my wife at 5'2", might find it challenging to ride the bike, even at its lowest settings. It definitely feels catered to taller riders. Charging Port Placement: The placement of the charging port straddling the weld line can be a bit inconvenient, making it a hassle to put the cover on securely. Weight: While it's easier to move when folded, the bike still weighs a hefty 66 lbs, which might not be ideal if you frequently need to carry it up stairs or load it into a vehicle. In summary, the GoTrax Z4 Pro Foldable Ebike is an impressive electric bike with a wealth of positives. It's fantastic speed, versatile assist modes, foldability, safety features, cargo capacity, and solid range make it a great choice for daily commuting and recreational rides. While it may not meet all expectations, particularly in terms of range and suitability for shorter riders, it still offers an overall excellent riding experience.

The GoTrax Z4 Pro has a powerful 500-watt rear hub motor that can reach speeds of up to 20 mph. It also has a 48-volt lithium-ion battery that can last for up to 50 miles. This means you can ride for a good while and not have to worry about running out of battery. Another cool feature is that the Z4 Pro has a foldable frame. This means you can easily store and transport the e-bike (and its great from those that live in apartments where space is tight). The bike also has a rear storage rack for storing or transporting your items. Really cool! Putting the bike together took me around 30 minutes or so. It was not overly difficult but do make sure you look at the pictures as it helps when putting everything together. All I had to put on was the front wheel, seat, petals, front fender, and light. The handlebar was an easy “slide” on step. The display is clear, easy to read, and big. Overall, I was up and riding within 45 minutes, and it was a blast to use. The fat tires are nice, and the ride was smooth. I had zero issues overall and thoroughly enjoyed the rides I have taken.
