I bought this Karaoke machine for my daughter's Sweet 16 party along with a bunch of CD-Gs from another source. The price was right and I liked that the player was available at my local Best Buy store. I didn't expect the sound quality to be that great for such a small device, so I was not surprised that it was only so so. I hooked up a TV, external speakers and a second microphone and got pretty good sound and video quality. The controls are typical of a cheap CD player, not the most ergonomic design, but usable. The flashing disco lights are fun for a party. My biggest problem and concern was that the player stopped working after a few uses. I tested it out at home and it worked fine, and then when we took it to the party, we were only able to sing 1 song before it would no longer read any CDs. I tried several and they would all just spin and never successfully load. Everyone at the party was very disappointed!! I took it back and got a replacement. I've used the new one a few times, and it so far is not having a problem. Hopefully I just got a bad one the first time. I recommend getting the extended warrantee as I did since it is likely that this device could stop working at any time.

We looked all over for a Karaoke machine for my daughters 7th birthday. They were all very large. This one was perfect because it's easy to set up and easy to store. The disco lights on top add to the fun and ambience!

Bought this for my daughter because she LOVES to sing!!! She was so excited when she got this and there has been singing all through the house. I like that it's compact enough to slide under a bed. Speakers work great even if you're in a large room.

I purchased this mini karaoke system for my daughter and she enjoys it quite a bit. The device comes with everything you need to get started (minus the music) and is quite easy to plug in and set up. The quality of the components and the unit itself are actually quite high considering this is somewhat of a budget music player. The device itself supports music CDs, CD G discs, but does NOT have an AUX input for and MP3 player. The sound quality and effects are to be expected--not superb, but can easily fill a room with no distortion. If you're looking for something basic that can fulfill your karaoke kick (or that of a young one) this little system does a really nice job.

not a bad karaoke machine for the price -- only $30 -- my daughter bought this for herself with holiday money, and she loves it -- doesn't have the best sound quality, especially if you play it through an external source (gets kinda "skippy" for some reason), but again, for $30, can't beat the value

You can use any G CD to sign along with or just use the background music and make up your own lyrics. You can also hook it up to a TV and display the lyrics on there.

Ordered for my daughter's B'day.party. Paid for expedited delivery but arrived late. Online status stated it still hadn't shipped, even after arrival. Unpacked and tested it but CDs wouldn't spin up. The lights worked though... thus the two stars. Phone and in store customer reps were friendly and tried to be helpful during the return.

We bought this little kareoke box 5 years ago for our 5 year old granddaughter who loved to sing. Next month she will be 10 years old, and she still loves to sing, and still has fun with this. In fact she has used it heavily all these years. It has been much more durable than I expected.

It's a good machine... the bad thing is the cd's for the machine are quite expensive.. but the machine itself does what it needs to do.. which for me is Karaoke with the friends and we have a good time.

Got this for daughter for Christmas. She loves to sing and this was better than the cheap Disney Princess one we gave her last year. This is more durable, but not overly pricey.

When you just plug it into the outlet, the cd inside will start sounding like as if it has bad reception which makes it annoying to the sound & the rest of those partaking in karaoke. We then plugged it into our tv and it got a lot better. My son loves to sing so this is very good for him to use. Other than that, it's fine. We use it often.

Got this as a replacement for our granddaughter who love to sing. Was easy to set up and use but the volume changes when the mike is used which tends to distract everyone.

Great price. Bought for three girls ages 12 to 8 and they love their system. Would recommend to friends and family :)

Easy and simple to use. She originally wanted the words on the actual system, but this is much better on the TV
