When I saw this movie, I greatly enjoyed it especially with Clint Eastwood trying to like people. As well, this movie either came out in 2008 or 2009 and I thought how the movie ended would be Clint’s last acting role. I was wrong.

Another great from Clint Eastwood. Of course i'm prejudice to his films.

What can I say, its a great movie. I had it on dvd and decided to upgrade to the blu ray version. Clint Eastwood is one of my all time favorite actors.

Another fine movie from Clint Eastwood. Brought a tear to my eye in the end.

I have a tendency to ramble so I'll try to keep this short and simple. Clint Eastwood stars as a gruff retiree and military veteran who overcomes his prejudices and the scars of war as he takes his neighbor, a Hmong youth, under his wing after the youth attempts to steal his '72 Gran Torino. The cast is absolutely fantastic as is the story of a man helping to guide a youth into manhood and away from the gangs who seek to add him to their ranks. The movie can get a bit slow but it really is worth taking a look. Definitely recommended.

This film depicts a good explanation about racism, stereotypes, prejudice, and how one should not judge another group of people before getting to know them. There is a great relationship between the two main characters, and each one needed to move a little in the other's direction to see the other person for whom they truly were. My hometown is rich with Hmong culture, so the film was interesting and relatable to me because of the cultural similarities I see every day. Great people, great film.

As with any Eastwood film Clint has a bold & strong character.

I saw this movie in theaters & really liked it. It took me a while to finally buy it on Blu Ray, but I noticed it was never on cable or even Netflix. Best Buy never seemed to have it in store, but I ordered it online for only like $7.50, & got free shipping! Movie is set in Detroit which is where I'm from, so maybe I like it more. I do believe that some of Eastwoods best work has been his more recent films.

A good life lesson of an old man set in his ways. He knows right and wrong and sees what his hardened views of society has done to him. He eventually becomes the champion of a young Mung boy and tries to save him from the street. Clint is stellar as usual and the movie has a great ending.

This movie was overlooked by the masses but is very pertinent to racial issues in or county today. Clint Eastwood is awesome in this; as he is in ALL his movies. We don't buy a ton of movies but this is a classic and was a reasonable price. If you haven't seen it spend the money to get it!
