I've been a fan of Gran Turismo titles for many years and am impressed by Gran Turismo Sport as a driving simulator, but am less impressed by it as a racing game. The graphics are crisp and the cars and environments are extremely realistic and beautiful. However, the gameplay takes a step back as compared to the graphics. Using a standard PS4 controller make turning very jerky, which I'm not sure would be better using a steering wheel controller. Finding reverse when you nose into a wall can be extremely frustrating as well. Menus are overloaded with too much information and even on a 55" 4K TV the lettering can be hard to read (or I'm just getting old). The number of tracks and vehicles are limited compared to other car racing titles. There are enough to enjoy the game, but just not as many as I would expect from Sony's flagship racing game. VR mode is AMAZING and makes you feel like you're really in the drivers seat. However, if you do have PlayStation VR connected to your PS4, the graphics suffer a bit because the game will not run in 4K...but it still looks great on a good TV. As much as I enjoy this game, it doesn't stand up to the gameplay and excitement of Forza Motorsport on the XBOX ONE.

I would recommend this title if you find a deal. Do not pay full price. The game is amazing, but the content is slim. A great VR game if you find it cheap.

I won't go into details on how well this game is. Other reviewers do just fine. What I will say is this is one of the few games that has good benefit for Pro owners with 1080p display. At 1080p, the replay function in the game is 60fps. This is a lost art in all racing games for at least a decade where 30fps replays are the norm on consoles. Since the GT series has always had the best replays of any racing game, I'm very glad to see this feature makes a return from the PS2 era.

Fantastic graphics. It does a good job making you feel the weight of the car. GT Pro Steering Wheel is not compatible.

I love the car selection in this game. There are lots to chose from & the tracks are cool too! Great graphics.

The biggest con of this game is there is no GT mode. This is what I always loved with Gran Turismo, going through tournaments, unlocking better cars, and being able to save up for that one dream car you wanted. This game is worth buying though, the graphics are absolutely gorgeous, and racing with 16 others just blends together so well. Sound has hugely improved since previous GT’s. If you’ve been a fan of the series, I would definitely get this one

I'd been looking forward to a GT game for the PS4 since day 1. GT Sport does not disappoint. The photorealistic environment is gorgeous, second to the detail of the cars. Car's engine sounds are unique and sound like their real-life counterparts as far as I can tell. Vehicle selection is great. While I wish I could see more vehicles available, I'm more than satisfied with the current line-up.Things can only get better from here. This game does support the Logitech G29 Steering Wheel and G Driving Force Shifter.

I liked the game a lot, i am playing it with the logitech racing wheel G29, and it is very realistic and that is what i like the most. As advertised in the box, it’s mainly focused in online mode so if you dont have PS Plus chances are you are not going to enjoy this game. I am not a racing gamer i actually just got the wheel and the game as a gift, and i am enjoying them both.

I think once all the bugs are out of it it will be a great game. If you are just a car collector this is not the game for you. This game is about driving and precision. Great graphics, great racing, it is what I wanted. Once they work out some of the bugs for online play it will be a time killer. Right now the server has constantly gone down for maintenance and because it is all online it makes it hard to play.

Still great gameplay, sweet cars, love the bonus features. Lacking a certain fun factor.

I’ll be quick. Forza 7 is a better game in almost every way. This game lacks the cars the content and overall polish it should have had. This does not come with a complete full campaign mode like in older GT title. Here’s hoping the Dec 2017 patch fixes things up. I would not recommend this and say wait for a completed edition.

First gran turismo came i ever purchased, outstanding graphics and lots of ways to customize nearly everything

As a long time GT phreque I’ve been awaiting this issue to drop and getting into it big time. Not a big phan of the online other than competing with PS amigos and phun 4 hours. Rendering and motion is too real so perhaps a next investment will include steering wheel as the controller isn’t sensitive enough for my road shredding. At last, and once again it’s about filling up your warehouse garage with exotic everything Buy it you won’t be disappointed

This game looks great. It needs constant internet connection and before you can play in actual races online, you need to complete the driving lessons which are like getting your licenses from previous games. Cars and tracks are limited as now, but future updates can add stuff. An update for the game was more than 13 GB in size, so expect to wait a while while it downloads and installs.

Graphics and gameplay is amazing. Very realistic and the selection of cars and tracks is unmatched!

This game got a lot of flack for being online only, but Polyphony and Sony have added a patch that allows you to play completely offline. The game features a full-on campaign now and lots of cool challenges, online races and arcade racing the series is known for. The gameplay is better than ever and the graphics are simply stunning. Definitely a must-have. It also has a VR mode, but I haven't had a chance to try that.

This game is challenging and has amazing graphics, more cars then you know what to do with

This is the first Gran Turismo for the PS4 and it has a lot of features that previous Gran Turismo games didn't have.The online races are worth buying the game and the offline racing and teaching of driving techniques is very fun,all together offline and online features make it worthwhile. New updates to game come weekly to make the game even better.

I would give 5 stars if it had a campaign to it like basically all the other Gran Turismos before it. Now your "campaign" is just training missions like the old s,a,b,c class licsenes. Besides that the other main meat of racing is arcade races or online. Other than that the graphics are great and controls are always good for a simulation racer.
