This is a great game. I just wish that PC players didn't have to wait so long after it originally came out for other systems. It still has some bugs, but thankfully Rockstar is at least trying to do something about them. Other than the bugs, the biggest negative I can come up with for the game is the amount of time it takes to install from 7 discs and to download the additional patch after that just to get to a working game.

PC Review: Best of the series by a mile, massive open world. I have played hundreds of hours having never touched the main story. I have robust hardware and this game runs smoothly, anyone running 2+ year old cards might not be happy, especially in the sub 300 category. The game is fun and never feels empty. You can run that car down that passed you a quarter mile back and he will still be there. This game is not for kids, parents do not let your 16-17 year olds play, this game is for mature folks, 20-25+.

First off I'd like to say how awesome GTA5 is as a whole. I've had it across all platforms, the exception being PS4. Didn't get it for that. But this PC version is the definitive version, everything plays better, loading times are a thing of the past. My ONLY grip was the install size and process. 64gb over 7 disc was resource and time consuming, but part of that can be resolved with a bigger SSD or HDD. Definitely pick up this version if you love the game or are playing it for the first time!!!

Many of my friends picked this up to mess around in multiplayer; so that's mainly what I got it for. It's been a bunch of stupid fun since I got it!
I haven't really touched the single player campaign yet, mostly due to being a bit daunted by it. I was a bit bored playing through GTA IV's story mode, so I might try this one later, but at the moment, GTA Online is where it's at!
If only online had a story mode too, rather than just heists and missions.

Easily the best Grand theft Auto to date. The story was awesome, and the multiplayer is pretty cool too.

Took over a year for it to release on the PC, but wow was it worth it. Game looks AMAZING and runs at 2-3x the framerates as the consoles on a high-end PC.
Beware, this will take 65-70GB of installation space and comes on SEVEN DVD drives. So, be ready to shuffle discs in jukebox style.
Still, it is worth the wait, this game is AMAZING for previous GTA fans and new fans as well, must play on the PC even if you are a console fan!

Rockstar has improved everything since the launch of GTA V on xbox 360 and PS3 in September of 2013. The Graphics has been stepped up a notch. They introduced the first person camera, increased the number of sidequest, etc. Best of all, the game became more fun with improved population quantity and the comfort of mouse and keyboard controls.

After playing the game on both PS3 and PS4, this is definitely the ultimate version. Of course, you must have a computer with the right specifications, but 60fps, 4k support, Nvidia 3D Vision 2, as well as simple graphic improvements, make this game fantastic. The Rockstar Editor alone makes this version the one to get, where you can make your own movies from your gameplay. This is a must buy!

Great job converting to PC version. Online mode is entertaining for me and friends who also play online. For high graphics you will need a beefy PC. GTX *70 or *80 from 5,6,7,9 series IMO. Core I5-I7quad. If not turn graphics down a bit. Retail is a 7 disk , 60 gig install. plus 5gb when you update. Load times are brutal even on SSD but its worth the wait.

It was a great console port done right, unlike other games for PC that are released buggy and unplayable. What more to say about a already great game.
Also you may want to get the Gamers club card from bestbuy it has the best preorder deal, purchase game with the 12$ off and 10$ for in store credit for up to 3 new games per year

Rockstar did an excellent job creating the PC version of this game and I love the mayhem and destruction I can do while playing it. The graphics is outstanding but if I had a controller the gameplay would be a lot better but with a keyboard and mouse it down right sucks. Anyways this game is well worth buying

I own the XBox 360 version of GTA V but I really wanted the PC version. As soon as it was announced that a PC version was being made I stopped playing the 360 version and waited for the PC version. The PC version is by far the best edition of this game. The game looks gorgeous and it is truly a fantastic game.

A return to what made me love the franchise

First let me start by saying that as a kid, San Andreas was one of my favorite games and it still is to this day. When GTA IV was announced I was excited to see a GTA for the newer generation of consoles at the time, but found myself disappointed by the direction they seemed to take the story. While the game certainly tried to have the classic dark humor I fondly remembered it seemed overshadowed by the forced edginess of the main story. GTA V on the otherhand is much more colorful world with the kind of eccentric characters I was used to. The gameplay isn't that remarkable--it holds true to just about every 3d world GTA game--there are a few new mechanics like the character swapping that bring some decent novelty to it. As always the most entertaining aspect of the game to me is just tooling around at breakneck speeds, armed to the teeth trying to abuse the physics engine and make loud explosions. It's simply an entertaining openworld game with the crass stylings the GTA franchise was built upon.

This is the physical copy of GTA V and it includes the map as well. It does not require Steam, instead it uses Rockstar's Social Club which requires you to create an account if you do not have one. The game itself is amazing: beautiful graphics, fun gameplay, and interesting storyline.

Played this on the PS4 but so happy to finally have on the PC. The graphics are amazing if you have a system that can handle it. Plus the inclusion of First Person Perspective really changes the game. Also the mod community is already hard at work finding new ways to change the game.

...but sitll the best version of GTAV to play. Make sure you have a pretty beefy graphics card to really enjoy the upped visuals-it really makes a difference. I've played through the story mode & while not as good as GTA4 the characters & choices still make the journey worthwhile
