I did not see this film in the theaters but it was well worth the purchase.

The movie was great! It wasn't what I was expecting but very entertaining.

The 3D effects and other visuals were excellent. I think that the film suffered due to not being even close to how things work in space. It sure wass convenient that the Hubble, ISS and Chinese space station were so close and in the same orbit. And you just point at them and go in a straight line to reach them.
