I read the reviews on many of the poppers online. I liked this one bc it won't pop all over the place and it does taste like real movie popcorn. It is just the right size for my basement theatre room. My son loves having friend over and popping popcorn. The only issue is that it is a small popper so you'd have to do a lot if batches to feed everyone. It's okay though bc I assume that the size is small to keep the flavor consistent. Be sure to warm up the kettle a few minutes otherwise you will get a lot of unpopped kernels.

I was going to purchase a larger machine but ended up getting this so it would fit on my bar. This machine works great! I let it warm up for 3 minutes before putting the popcorn in. I use coconut oil because that gives it the best flavor. I am really pleased with the purchase and would recommend if looking for a low cost easy to use machine. Please note the machine makes a quantity close to the size of a mini bag of popcorn.

This is a nice looking device and works well. It was simple to setup. There are couple things to keep in mind: 2.5 ounces is not that big, if you have a couple kids you need to run it 2 or 3 times so everyone will get some. It doesn't take long so that's not a big deal. The outside is plastic but sturdy, the kettle seems well made which is probably the most important part. Price-wise this was just as good as I found at other places online.

I like the performance of the popcorn maker, but the handling can be improved. It is difficult to get machine put together.

Took a second to figure out how to get the pot in and out, but once I did it was no problem. Easy to clean and use. For bigger groups you have to pop multiple batches, but for the price and size that seems a fair trade off.

This little version of a professional machine is quite nice. The panels are plastic and not glass. It is not a tank but moreso a delicate machine that does a good job at putting out great crunchy popcorn. I’m a popcorn afficionado and I was using the whirly pop stove top cooker which I also liked but found the output inconsistent so I decided to go with this one. My only caveat is that at 1/3 cup of kernels that fits into the basin it pops barely enough popcorn for two people, but I put it through 3 cycles for my family of 5 on our “movie” nights and everyone is happy. I’d rather have this little machine and go through 3 cycles to get the amount of popcorn I need than a monster big machine. This item comes with an affordable price tag. My opinion? It’s a no brainer! Don’t expect that you are getting a tank but rather, the little engine that could!!!

I bought this popcorn popper as I wanted to have fresh popcorn while watching movies at home. The popcorn popper is easy to assemble and operate is very simple, just turn on the heater then, using the measuring spoons that are provided, add the cooking oil and popcorn kernels to the pot. In a few minutes, popcorn will start coming from the pot. When the popping stops, pour the popcorn from the pot and your done or pop another batch if desired. Very few if any unpopped kernels.

Love this popcorn maker. Small and stylish enough to keep out on our counter. Perfect for family movie night. Also pretty easy to clean.

Small footprint and easy to clean is a big plus. It comes with a tray that the popcorn falls into and can be taken out easily. I bought it for my teenage son and he loves it!! Only pops enough for one to two people at a time. If you want to do a family size batch you have to do multiple cycles or get a bigger machine.

Popcorn machine works great! The kids love it!!!!!

The kids wanted one of these. Better than microwave popcorn. Kids enjoy making and eating the popcorn. It doesn't make a lot at a time, only 1/2 cup of kernels but that is plenty for them at one time.

Makes popcorn easy and tastes just like the theater. We use this several times a month and it has held up well

I got this machine to go in a movie night gift basket and they loved it. Looks great on any table.
