This album is out of stock almost everywhere, but I was able to find a copy at a Best Buy not too far from my house. It appeared to be the only copy on the east coast and was only available for store pickup. So I ordered it and drove to the store not knowing what to expect. When I was picking it up, I was a little concerned at first because the seal had been broken and there was a tear in the sleeve, but the records looked like they had never been played and were pristine. My guess is that it had been sitting in the store for quite some time and no one bought it because of the broken seal. A little clear tape to stop further tearing of the sleeve and I was ready for a spin. Wow, the other reviewers were right, this is an excellent defect free pressing with superb fidelity. It sounds absolutely amazing start to finish, better than any digital version. There was obvious care put into the production of this record. I'm glad I took a chance on this and would highly recommend if you can find a copy.

This record is one of the highest quality recordings I've ever heard. The instruments are all crystal clear and perfectly balanced. There is virtually no surface noise. I own all of the albums that this collection of songs were originally on and can safely say that this album takes this music to a new level. The set list is a great representation of Neil Young's music from this time period. I hope they re release Live Rust with the same attention to detail present on this record.

I'mnot the biggest neil Young fan but I do like his hits. I was told that this specific vinyl remastering was simply amazing. I am a n audiophile and vinyl enthusiast. The mastering on this album is not overly eq'd and the balance between the high, mid, and low end is spectacular.

Purchased Neil Young’s greatest hits. There is no comparison when listening to music on vinyl. Best Buy carries a wide selection and their prices are reasonable.

This album makes a nice introduction to Neil Young's music, recommend to try this album and than expand your Neil Young catalog of full length albums.

This is one of the best "Greatest Hits" albums out there and it sounds great on my new Klipsch stereo!

I bought this double LP and every song is great. The LPs are very quiet and no defects in the pressings. 5 *****

Lousy pressing for new vinyl. Record was filthy!!!

This is a Classic Records label record. They are known for dead silent backgrounds and quality pressings. Do I need to review Neil Young? I'm sure you know him well.
