If you are a super hero movie this one is a must watch, because it fills you in as one of the characters of the comics and it creates a good plot for other movies within the same genre

My 6 year old son loves super hero movies. He can watch this movie again and again. After the third showing, I don"t want to run screaming from the room so it's not too bad of a movie.

Though not the best super hero movie of all time I still like the sarcasm and quirkiness layered throughout the action and adequate plot of the movie. I'd spend money to see a sequel.

Fun and worth the cost of admission...Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are easy to watch and the Blu-Ray edition plays well on the 1080p screen as well as the surround system.

While this movie was never one to garner positive recognition, this movie is still worth it to add to a collection of SteelBook movies.

its dc so the story isnt as good as most marvel sags but the green lantern is one of the more interesting ones great bluray and 3d for the colors.

The movie is good, but not memorable. The CGI for anything green being brought out of thin are was nice. The humor is good, but some of the acting not so much.

I believe that this movie doesn't catch much speed to the more famous movies of Batman and Superman as it just is not as popular as those action heroes. The story was understandable and followable but I feel that it might have been to mythical and something that cannot be grabbed if it were real life. Underrated though for sure, not knowing anything about the Green Lantern, I came away from watching the movie liking the live action and somewhat curious to view a comic or two.

This was a good movie, but not a great movie. It had good action and storyline, but a lot of CGI. It's worth watching.

Made me feel great to see something that I watched as a cartoon and read in comic books as a kid, to acually watch a live version with all the effects.

Grew up (late 50" & early 60's) reading all the numerous DC Comics, and fancying myself as one of the heroes. This held pretty close to the original storyline (except for the color "yellow's" ability to overcome Green Lantern's powers). From memory, could still recite, in rote, Green Lantern's chant to power-up the ring. If you're from my generation, this was a nice way to return to your childhood.

Though I am not a green lantern comic fanatic, I did enjoy this movie. They seemed to capture the essence of what I understand the character to be and represent. The special effects are well done and add to the movie a punch that the standard good vs evil storyline doesn't. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have good chemistry and therefore the characters they play blend well into the basic plot their characters are wrapped up in.

Good movie !!! Any comic made into a movie does it for me, storyline could be poor but you add 3D and I'm hooked.

Not the best superhero movie ever, but it is entertaining. The extended cut is much better than the theatrical cut.

This transfer of Green Lantern looks and sounds great! Just the right amount of extras for my taste. You can't beat the price either.

My whole family is a fan of this movie. I had really never seen the entire movie but when they told me I would like it even though it was another hero adventure story they were right. It kept my interest to the end and was a really good experience. And I think you will enjoy it too. Also I got it on Bluray and at a great price at Best Buy. You won't go wrong with this one.
