Im a big fan of the end of the world, asteroid destroying the earth, ELE (end of life event, a through back to Deep Impact) and oil drillers going to space to plant nukes on meteors.. This movie was beautiful, phenom special effects, i really appreciate the decline of society in it.. its the best planet-killing asteroid movie to date

A family fights for survival as a planet-killing comet races to Earth. AMAZING and worth the wait! It felt and looked so real you will be so fully immersed you’ll forget it’s a movie. It has everything from panic, fear, heart and a few funny moments but most of all COMPLETELY ACTION PACKED with outstanding acting! The storyline is realistic along with human nature good and bad. Definitely make the investment to rent this movie it’s worth it!

A predictable disaster movie, except that this time it is an extinction level event for planet Earth. The special effects were not so overdone as to make them unbelievable, and the actors for the most part played their roles as expected. In the current lockdown climate, it is a good movie to waste two hours on.

Pretty good movie. I liked the attempt at a realistic approach. Although, there's no way I'm getting separated from my wife & kid in that scenario. Worth watching though ... Morena Baccaro is easy to look at too.

I love Gerard Butler and this movie I waited for the release date, of course Best Buy didn't let their customers down and when it was released you ran right out and bought it. This was a epic movie, kept you on the edge of your seat. So many unexpected things. How crazy to think one day this really will happen

After a long year of everything pandemic, I couldn’t wait for this movie to come out. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. My mothering instincts may have kicked in during a couple scenes but I had to think how would I have reacted to that same chaos.

Good script. Good acting by some great actors. A movie with plenty of action and it’s fair share of drama. In the end it’s a movie that will have you begging for more. This is a must have movie and a keeper for any movie collection. Surely worth the purchase and the purchase price.

I've watched this several times and enjoy it each time. I was on the edge of my seat several times. Good action movie. Of course, I enjoy Gerard Butler. However, I don't recommend watching it with children. There are some concepts that they might find difficult.

This is a very good movie with a good storyline with a happy ending I was glad to see a plot where a woman with martial issues sees that the grass isn't always greener on the other side and ends up reconciling with her husband. Took a disaster for it to happen but it did. Great effects!

Loved this movie because it’s seen through the eyes of an everyday family rather than through the eyes of scientist “trying to save the world” again. You get the feeling of how you may react if this were to happen including the confusion, fear and the many questions you may have.

Great movie! Enjoy all Gerard Butler films. Thanks to Covid-19 had to wait a long time for this to come out. When it finally did, couldn’t wait to rush down an pick up a copy. Have watched it twice, my son and daughter have each seen it and we all loved it. Highly recommended!

I give this movie 4 stars, for not showing it in the Movie Theatres.. I liked the actors and the plot, though at times some of the trouble they ran into was unbelievable.. I doubt if anyone can find that much trouble, and come out on a positive end.. "Oh, movie magic".

Bought this and immediately watched it when I got home, this is the PERFECT movie for a surround sound set-up. Basic premise is a family drama except with a massive apocalypse backdrop. This is worth every penny, and there's a nice director and producer commentary as well.

As I write this review, keep in mind that I enjoy this film genre and am a fan of Gerard Butler. I found the movie entertaining and it kept me engaged. However, if you are seeking a movie where everything that happens is believable and accurate, this may not be for you.

This was a great movie. It shows how people would react to an impending disaster and the crazy things that they would do. The movie was not just about the comet coming to destroy the earth but also how it affected the lives of people when faced with a no win situation.

Really good movie although I wish it had a bigger budget. The movie and the actors deserved better. Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin were excellent together. Scott Glenn is also still at the top of his game. Highly recommended all around.

Intense, and sometimes heart wrenching disaster movie with Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin as husband and wife who are on shaky ground but come together to protect their young son and get to an alleged safe haven from a comet which will destroy most life on Earth.

The effects in this movie are good and the story plot is good too. As all Gerard Butler movies are action packed this one is too. I enjoyed and found myself in his character. Fast moving plot and his actions are just as good as I expected and I loved this movie.

Can't go wrong wit a Gerard Butler film! Add in Morena Baccarin and you've got a great action flick. Climate Change? We should be more worried about that big ol asteroid hitting the earth. I really enjoyed the movie and I think you will too
