First electric mower

Have used it a couple of dozen times now. I used to be able to do my reasonably small front and back lawn on one charge but in the summer in NC, things grow fast and it struggles with the very tall "grass" (I'm originally from NY where we had real grass).. It struggles more when very wet, but that's what I would expect. Can't really compare to non-electric mowers since I haven't had a lawn since I was a kid in the 60's and 70's. I'm 62, male and 150 or so lbs so I'm not as strong as I once was. I can still lift this over my head to shake it out (necessary for very wet grass that gets stuck to it). Use it like a vacuum cleaner, or go forward one "row", then back across the next to save battery. It cuts nicely in both directions. Tilt up the front a bit for tall and/or wet grass, or tilt up the back if going backwards. That will avoid the motor cutting out. This is not really a fault of the mower. Grass and weeds can grow a foot tall in 2-3 days where I now live in NC! If it does cut out, it starts right back up with a push of the button. The battery a bit difficult to remove. Requires a bit of a strong hand. I might nor recommend it for people with weaker hands unless you have someone to help you pull the battery out. You have to hold a large button while pulling, which makes it hard to use both hands. Safe...even when rocks got kicked up, they were not kicked out. They hit the housing.

Smaller than expected, difficult to assemble

You’re better off just putting it together without them. It’s my fault for not realizing how small it was, will be returning.

How do you leave the handle out of the box? It’s going to takes weeks for them to send me the missing part. Now I’m going to have to find someone to cut my grass before my HOA fines me. Hopefully it works
