Perfect for small lawns
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall pleased and worked great for a small 1000 sqft lawn. Packaged in plain brown box. Recommend curbside pickup as it's heavy. Condition was very good - a few scrapes here and there. The biggest problem is that the start switch tends to stay down and not release but it turns out that's an advantage as it's a pain to have to let go of the handles and press the start switch to restart - I eventually just let the motor run when I would turn it. Note the batteries are reconditioned and stamped RC but unlike other reviews I didn't see any stamp on my mower. Height adjustment was great. At first I only saw 1-4 but then realized there's a lot more positions hidden from view. Mowed slightly damp grass without any problems. I have about 1000 sqft which takes about 15 min due to so many turns. I put both the 2 & 4Ah batteries in and it drew 2 bars from the 2AH and didn't touch the 4Ah. Self-propelled is overkill for my small lawn but sure was nice - I'm usually tired by the end but not with this. Seemed to cut very well and actually did a better job of sucking up small leaves than my gas mower. Sure is a delight not to have to fight with my old carb for 5 minutes getting it started! Recharge 4Ah in an hour but noisy fan. Handles have a unmarked green section that you pull to fold the handles. The power controls must be installed with 2 screws and like other reviews the wires there looked sketchy as they have to be bent at an angle to fit but no damage to mine.

Surprising 80v Greenworks Self Propelled Mower
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good mower. More powerful than you would think. It does need two batteries to operate which my older version did not. It also only has 1 blade & I see a newer model has two. I think this would help with the leave mulching I do.

Damaged and faulty speed control
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unit arrived with visible damage to both wires. Wire jackets are damaged and one side the colored wires are visible. I did try it, it runs but there is no noticeable difference between the turtle and the rabbit for speed. Who “refurbishes” these? (Term used loosely). It’s very easy to see, apparently they are not tested and they don’t even know how to use a rag! Side note: why isnt there an option to turn off the headlights? Their LED and probably don’t really affect runtime, but why do you need headlights on during the day?

Powerful and Efficient GreenWorks 80V Lawn Mower -
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the GreenWorks 80V lawn mower, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance. Having switched from a gas mower, I was looking for something quieter, environmentally friendly, and easy to maintain without sacrificing power. This mower truly delivers on all fronts. Power and Efficiency The 80V battery provides an impressive amount of power, comparable to a traditional gas mower but without the hassle of gas and oil. It cuts through thick grass effortlessly, even on my slightly uneven lawn. Each battery lasts about 45 minutes, which is more than enough for my yard, and it recharges quickly so I’m back to work in no time. Ease of Use I love the push-button start—it’s quick, simple, and reliable. No more pulling cords! The mower is also incredibly lightweight and easy to maneuver, even on slopes, thanks to its ergonomic design. The height adjustment is straightforward, letting me switch between different grass lengths in seconds. Battery Life and Eco-Friendliness The 80V battery is a game-changer. It’s powerful enough to get the job done without creating noise pollution, and the battery level indicator keeps me informed so I know when it’s time to recharge. Plus, using an electric mower is eco-friendly, which aligns with my commitment to a greener lifestyle. Quality and Durability The build quality of this GreenWorks mower is top-notch. The materials feel durable, and the mower has stood up to some intense mowing sessions without a scratch. With proper care, I can see this mower lasting for many years. Overall Impressions For anyone on the fence about switching to a battery-powered mower, I highly recommend the GreenWorks 80V model. It’s powerful, efficient, and a joy to use. I spend less time mowing and more time enjoying a beautiful, well-kept lawn.

Exceptional Performance and Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this! The Greenworks 80V 21” Dual Port Self-Propelled Lawn Mower is an impressive piece of equipment designed to cater to both small and large lawn care needs. This refurbished model comes with a 4.0 Ah battery, a 2.0 Ah battery, and a charger, ensuring that you have ample power to complete your lawn maintenance without interruptions. The 80V motor is powerful and efficient, providing a gas-like performance without the hassles of gas maintenance. The dual battery ports allow for extended run time, so you can mow large areas without needing frequent recharges. The 4.0 Ah and 2.0 Ah batteries included offer flexibility, allowing you to choose the appropriate battery for the size of your task. The self-propelled feature is particularly beneficial, reducing the physical effort required to maneuver the mower, especially on uneven terrain. The Greenworks mower is user-friendly, with intuitive controls and a straightforward setup. The self-propelled mechanism is easy to engage, and the mower’s overall design is ergonomic, minimizing strain during use. The inclusion of both a 4.0 Ah and a 2.0 Ah battery ensures that you can handle both long and short mowing sessions effectively. I would definitely recommend this!

Greenworks 80V 21 inch lawn mower
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only used this mower once, but overall I liked it. It cut well and was fairly easy to maneuver. The battery life was good for my purposes. I purchased primarily to do edging and areas that the riding lawnmower cannot reach. I loved that I did not need to drag a power cord behind me, which we have been doing with our other electric mower. Two criticisms: 1. It does not back up - the directions say to not back up with this mower, but you have to when you mow up to obstructions. I always turned it off to back up and then I had to tilt it up on its back wheels to pull it back toward me. If I didn't, it gouged the grass. 2. The grass height settings are not intuitive - I thought 3 meant 3 inches, I had to set it at 7 to get about a 3 inch grass height. One other positive: I have 2 other greenworks items and I am happy that all of the batteries are interchangeable.

Yard Work Lover
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this mower, after 30 years of a gas mower this electric mower took the prize. No wfgoet to charge and turn it on and move along easily to cut grass. My neighbors love me they said they can’t even hear me mowing which is nice to hear because I’m the person who hates hearing other people mow with their loud mower models so I take it very well. Lightweight and even has lights for when it gets darker outside before evening sets.

Works decent, battery stopped charging
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mower is light weight, quiet and easy to use. Some spots have to be gone over twice to get the stragglers but does the job in no time. However, one of the batteries no longer holds a charge 10 months after purchasing. With no option for extended protection, and the 180 day warranty, I’m down a battery. I would think they should last a few years at least. Maybe the new not refurbished battery would’ve last longer?

Posted .Hello CHEYB. Thank you for sharing your experience. The frustration caused by this issue is understood. To help determine the cause, exploring the following troubleshooting steps is recommended.1. Check the Charger. Ensure the charger is plugged in properly and that the outlet works. You can try using another charger, if available, to eliminate the possibility of charger issues. Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction.
2. Inspect the Battery. Look for any signs of damage or corrosion on the battery itself or the charger connections.
3. Test with a Different Battery (if possible). If you have another battery that you know is working, try charging it with the same charger to determine if the problem is with the charge. We hope you will find this information useful. If you need any further support, our team is available to assist you. You can connect with us through Live Chat on our website at www.greenworkstools.com, or by phone at 1-888-909-6757.

Great mower, battery with some issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am aware of risks that come with refurbished products as it’s never clear what was repaired. In this case, the mower itself works just fine. I had to buy a second battery, and it turns out the one that was included was marked refurbished. When I have that one in the right bay, the mower stops quickly as if the batteries ran out (not switching to the second). However, if I place the batteries in reverse order, it works just fine and 0.5 acre are no problem. I suspect the battery has some internal issues, but buying another battery is almost as much as this (refurbished) set.

Great push mower
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very impressed! I have very thick grass that had gotten too long and was a bit damp. I've mowed this thick mess several times now and the mower has only bogged down once. It's easy to use and the folding handle makes it much better to store in my tiny space. The batteries charge quickly and I can get my whole yard done on one charge. I hate lawn work, but this mower is infinitely easier to use and more convenient than my old gas beast.

The right choice for us.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To buy a refurbished product of this nature requires a giant leap of faith. After much consideration and hand wringing, we purchased one of these from BB, and we have never looked back. This is a good alternative to paying twice the price or more for maybe a product that might be as good. The product was delivered on time and well packaged. The unit appeared to be all but brand new, with no sign whatever of ill use, or any use at all, for that matter. A little unfolding and unpacking, and we were happily mowing away at our out of control lawn. The Greenworks mower is robust and highly functional, taking all of our massive lawn in stride. The dual battery setup delivers just the right range for the amount of time we want to spend on any given day doing this sort of work. The cut is clean, accurate, and nice and wide, and combined with its self-propulsion, makes for easy work. I recommend buying one of these. BB stands behind the sale, so if there is a problem, you will know who to call.

Posted .Hello KennethLK. Thank you for the feedback. It is great to hear you are happy with the mower itself, but sorry the battery runtime is not meeting your expectations. Here are some tips to optimize your battery runtime. Mowing Conditions: Thick Grass, mowing thick, tall, or damp grass will require more power and drain the battery faster. Speed, reduce walking speed when mowing thick grass to allow the mower to cut effectively and discharge clippings properly. Wet grass, avoid mowing wet grass, as it can cause clogs and increase the load on the motor, reducing runtime. Mowing Technique: Grass height, do not cut more than one-third of the grass length at a time for a healthy lawn. Self-propelled feature, use the self-propelled feature only when needed, as it can drain the battery more quickly. Battery Care: Ensure you charge the battery fully before each use, maintain the battery properly by cleaning terminals, avoid extreme temperatures during storage, consider buying a second battery for larger lawns. As the lawn becomes consistently maintained you will see the cut and runtime improve. Hope these tips help. Great mower for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well. Can mow the whole yard on one charge. Doesn’t handle thick grass very well. Have to mow in very small sections in one place of the yard. Not really a big deal. The self propelled is so NICE! Overall very comparable to my old gas push mower. Couldn’t tell it was refurbished. Came in original box. Easy to put together.
