Gremlins was one of the first movies to show that you can have two genres in one movie to appeal to a wider audience. It's both a Christmas movie and a Halloween movie, much like 'Nightmare Before Christmas' and 'Die Hard'... ok, that's an action movie that takes place during Christmas, but you can watch it any time, even Christmas! It mixes a bunch of horror and humor in a good balance so that it doesn't sway too far one way. The gremlins themselves are quite the scary bunch, but they also enjoy Snow White. They wreck machinery and are extremely ill-tempered, but they'll head to the local bar for a cold one. It doesn't have a huge cast, but that's alright because the creatures are the true stars of the movie. A lot of practical effects went into making the gremlins (and Gizmo) come to life, I cannot fathom how much work they did to pull it off. One scene alone has dozens of them in a theater. It's a great movie if you're looking for a bit campy and scary.

What a wonderful way to experience Gremlins than with a 4k release. It's definitely a lot punchier than the Blu-ray disc, but the Blu-ray is still great. Great special features and commentary.

Always loved the Gremlins movie...so when I seen it was coming out on 4K I had to get it! Definitely wasn’t disappointing! The movie looks & sounds great! Worth the purchase if your a fan!

First time seeing this movie and wont be my last, it's a great classic 80's movie to watch. Only problem was the piece to hold the DVD in the case was broken but it didn't scratch the disc.

Often imitated but never duplicated Gremlins is one of a kind. Always has been and always will be.....and now to have it in 4K wrapped by the steelbook it's a collectors must have.

This takes me back when I was a kid, I was 12 when this came out, loved it then, love it now on 4k. Definitely a great movie, classic, only wish I could by a real Gizmo lol

It's so hard to believe that it's been 35 years since Gremlins originally came out. It's certain a classic, and as iconic as E.T. and definitely worth watching again.

Bought this to show to my young daughter and to watch during Christmas. The color pallet is expanded nicely and detail is much improved. A worthy upgrade for fans.

Yes, it's a Christmas movie! Gizmo is a Christmas gift. Great 4k upgrade. Much better color grading.

This fun, furry, tale quickly turns sinister when kids don't follow directions! Gremlins is a comedy with a dark lesson! Fun for children! Chaos for parents!

If you live the films you must get Gremlins in 4K. Seeing it again after a long time and especially in 4K just wows and brings things back. Pick it up !

This 80's masterpiece is a must own for any fan as this New 4K is incredible. A timeless movie you can love at any age. A must for any 4k collection.

I’ve owned this movie on standard bluray for quite some time, but now one of the best horror movies of all time jumps to 4K. This is a great release!

I didn’t like the look of the steel book at first but it has grown on me. Also, total fail on WB for dropping the bonus disc from the previous Blu-ray special edition. Be sure to hang onto that if you are double dipping but otherwise, this is a worthy upgrade.

This is a movie remastered from my childhood! Its written to be perfect for a relatively younger audience (with some caution), as well as adults!

ThIs 4K steelbook release of Gremlins is not only an attractive package, but it boasts a stunning 4K transfer of the film. Highly recommended!
