It took a while to figure out how to take it apart to put the iPad in but once that was achieved, the install was quick and the case works great. Not only does it protect your iPad but it gives you a better hold of it when in use. Negative: the access port of the charger/usb connect was not wide enough for the apple video adaptor. You will need to take it out of the case in order to make the connection to the HDMI to you TV.

At first I thought this cover was pricey. But when I figured out the cost for a front cover, back cover and clear screen cover it came about even. So with this I have a permanent screen cover which also helps with wetness if I happen to be outside. The plastic cover and rubber cover are both very sturdy compared to a regular iPad cover. I feel confident that my iPad is protected in the event I might accidently drop it. I think it's worth the price.

I won my IPad 2 and couldn't get an extended warranty so I researched all the covers and cases. This was the best deal by far! Even though it is more expensive than other covers this had the screen protector and case in one. I have two little girls who love to play on my IPad. I recently took apart my cover so that I could clean some dust and my IPad is still in pristine condition. I thought maybe after I took off the cover and had to put it back on that I would not get e same seal. I was wrong. It went on the second time just as snug as the first. I have spilled on this and dropped it and my IPad is still working great. Thanks Griffin fo a great way to protect my IPad.

Great sturdy case completely protects my ipad. Only complain is the screen protector kind of takes away from the retina display

This is the best case I have ever had. I just got an iPad 2 for my birthday June 8 from my mom and my grandmother just recently today got me this amazing case. At first I was debating between this case and an otterbox. But I'm forsure glad I went with this one. No flaws, nothing I get pick out wrong with it. It's perfect for me because I tend to have a lot of accentents. I highly recommend anyone and everyone. It's an all around top to bottom, front to back protection. Best money I ever spent

Great product and very durable.. My son has dropped his Ipad on several occasions and Ipad was untouched or damaged, Highly recommend especially for parents with children of special needs.

Its not the most stylish option you can get. If you are purchasing a case for looks and style look elsewhere. Its fairly bland, adds bulk to the iPad and depending on what you are doing can be cumbersome. However, when it comes to protecting your investment you are hard pressed to find better. It's sturdy, durable, waterproof and has a built in stand for viewing. Once you get used to it, it's worth the purchase if your main objective is to protect your device.

I really like the case for the intents that we bought it. It's pretty rugged and not at all a pretty "mom" cover however I liked the fact that it has a built in screen protector. It also has solid covers over all the ports and slots. The drawback is the added weight to the iPad. If I was the only user I would've gone with a lighter more business like case. I also didn't like the lack of instructions.

I love this case. I purchased to protect my Ipad 3 and I has done a very good job. The bottom charge port rubber protector starts to wear down from constantly opening it to charge. After a year it is hanging on by a sliver of rubber. Also the camera cover could be tricky to pin back and tends to flop over the lens you move around too much (annoying when shooting a video) Other than that it is an excellent case and worth the investment.

I bought two of these for users that will be in a rough environment, they took a few minutes to install but feel like a good quality product that will protect the iPad from bumps and drops. I'm sure I could have found something online for a fraction of the price but these were in stock and I needed them ASAP so I can't really complain... should have looked online and done a price match though.

The Survivor case is good but needs more refinement to make it truly awesome. Here is a list of my dislikes; -The charging port is too small and does not allow the use of Apple SD card, USB & HDMI adapters, which are slightly larger than the included iPad/iPod charger cable. - There is no front screen protection, other than the clear plastic. It needs a hard plastic cover to snap on and protect the screen from damage when carried in a bag or backpack. - The rubber microphone cover/flap does not stay put. It constantly flops around. - The camera and speaker port covers/flaps do not stay open when the small tab is placed in the receptacle. - There is water marking between the iPad screen and clear Survivor screen cover. - The screen side camera needs its own rubber port cover too.

This is a great protector for an ipad I'm a preschool teacher who works with 3-5 year old and use my ipad as an extra stimulus to get the kids to work on goals with out them knowing they are doing work. The ipad is completely inclosed and the screen is protected. I dont have to worry about the screen being scratched or the device its self being harmed.

So we bought an iPad2 and I had palpitations everytime my 2 year held it. I tried a few cases, but they just weren't sturdy enough. I bought this product, the iPad has survived and my cardiac symptoms went away. It significantly adds to the bulk, but I assume that couldn't be avoided. It does it's job and I am pleased with the purchase.

I got this case because I wanted something rugged that would really protect my iPad. While this case is very rugged, I had several issues with it. It adds a LOT of weight, which is probably the least of my complaints about it. About a week after using the case, I noticed some dust particles in between the screen protector and the iPad screen itself. No biggie, I thought, I'll just take the case off and clean the screen. Huge mistake! After cleaning the screen I couldn't for the life of me get the case back on properly. The tabs wouldn't match up correctly, and it was warped and bent to the point where it was flabby and not tight to the iPad. I even had my husband mess with it for awhile to see if he could get it to sit right. No go. It was really annoying. Waste of money in my opinion. I ended up getting a Roocase smart case. Not as rugged, but at least I can take my iPad out of it without worrying about whether or not I can get it back in!

We did not shop around. This is what the best buy tech recommended and put on our ipad2 for us. It is very high quality and with four kids is a must have. Watch the kids and make sure they are not playing with the flaps that pop out for charging, speakers, etc... They will twist them off while playing with it or watching Netflix if your not careful.

i enjoy the bag it protects my ipad2 easy to slide in and out of bag. the extra compartment are great holds my charger and excessories

Very good cover for protection. Purchased for my wife. It's a shame that it is not even remotely attractive. The access panels do not work easily. Best Buy sales policy is really irritating. Purchased at full price then three days later Best Buy puts on sale for almost 40% off. Unfortunately I was out of town at time of sale. When I returned I was told sale was over and that I was just plain out of luck.

This was purchased for my 8 year olds ipad (of which he saved his own money for, we split the cost of the case). I feel safe knowing he has the Griffin case protecting his ipad. The stand works great when he wants to watch tv/movies on his ipad. He picked out the blue case, it is stylish and really keeps the ipad protected. No worries here, definitely worth the money. Splurge to protect your investment.
