I bought this case for my 8 year old son to protect his iPad mini. The case has lived up to its name because it has survived several drops! He also loves the fact that it has a stand so that he can watch movies and etc. definitely a great buy!

Our eight year old has had an ipad mini for two years (we're crazy I know but it's a lifesaver on car trips and educational apps). When we first purchased the ipad we had a griffin that lasted for two years of major wear, tear, spills, and the ipad is good as new. We purchased this case several weeks ago and love it! Our son loves the blue color and it's easy to spot when it's misplaced (especially charging in a pile of papers on the desk). We love the stand feature that we didn't have before. He had a class project on paper airplane making and was able to watch youtube videos on how to make an airplane on the ipad at the table while following along making one himself. The level of protection seems to be the same high quality as the first one; and sadly he's already dropped it a time or two and the unit was well protected. I like the material as it seems to be a bit of a shock absorber unlike the extremely hard shell cases. Overall, definitely recommend this product. You won't be disappointed.

Have had the Griffin Survivor on two iPhones, two iPads and now the iPad mini - great protection! I've always been clumsy and the sleek design of these devices lends to me accidentally accelerating them through space with great inertia (throwing them), yikes! The Survivor cases give me something to hold onto and give the devices a rubber bumper system to survive when I eventually throw the device accidentally anyway. And the case comes with a stand, so you can watch videos or video conference with it easily. I love these cases, the only complaints I've ever heard is that they are not waterproof and that they're too clunky. Because I'm clunky and not waterproof, this seems reasonable to me...

This is a positive/negative review. First, the negative is if your going from the regular iPad mini to the mini 2, IT DOES NOT FIT THE MINI 2. The description says it does but that is wrong. The 2 is ever so slightly thicker. DONT try to force it. This case fits snug like a glove and if you force it, you may damage the 2. Now the Positive side.. I've had my case for 2-3 years. My son was small when we purchased and its endured chewing, slobber, dropping etc etc. I LOVED it!! It's an excellent purchase for the iPad mini wifi. Completely durable, difficult to put in and take off for a reason people. That iPad will NOT fall out and the case is very tight. Great protection=snug snug fit and shock protection. I'm super bummed it won't work for the 2. Not 100% it fits any of the others (3,4) but the geek squad can surely help if your in store.Thanks for reading! We got an ipad mini for the family after having an ipad for work for 8 months. Have the same case on my ipad. It really protects your ipad from everything except full immersion! Not too bulky and will still fit on other device stands. Has its own little stand as well that is very useful, but also easily removable. The screen protector isn't great and has to be taken off and cleaned under neath every month, but if your worried about getting spilled and thrown up on then it is worth it. A little pricey, but only half the price of a life proof, so really a good bargain over all. My kids are 4,3 and 1, and my brothers are 22 and 16 so it's got some pretty fair usage and has never popped open or cracked.

I purchased this case when I bought my new iPad mini. I have used Otterbox products on my iPhones and was going to buy the defender for my iPad mini, but decided on this one based price. Installing was kind of a pain getting the clips to latch, but once installed I have had no problems with it coming apart. It has the raised rubber corner which provide extra protection and comfortable grip. The built in screen protector is clear and durable, but the edges are raised from the screen and cause you to push a little harder to hit the buttons located there.

This is a very protective case with a not too rubbery feel. The case is contoured to fit the hands nicely, making it easy to hold the iPad with one hand. The built in screen protector is nice, but does attract finger prints. The stand feels a little flimsy, but does it's job. However, the stand will only work in landscape mode and will not attach to the case in portrait. Overall, I am happy with this case.

I like this case for my son's iPad Mini! The color is great! I also got my other son the Lime Green w/Black!! I would say this is just as good as the "Otter Box" for less money! My kids all have this case for their iPad Mini's and I feel very good about the protection it provides for their iPad. I'm not that worried if it gets dropped or something spills by mistake! :-)

Worth every penny to protect your overpriced iPad... even if it hadn't been on sale. This thing was super easy to put on my iPad mini and has since proven invaluable. I can just toss the iPad into my purse or the diaper bag and go without worrying that I'm going to damage my device. It has stood up to claims of being child proof, with no evidence of toddler finger prints or complications from spilled milk while at the restaurant. Touch screen, camera, microphone, speakers, etc... are in no way compromised by the cover. It IS a little bit bulkier and heavier, obviously, but not significantly so... in fact, I kind of find it's easier to hold. The kickstand is incredibly sturdy and the only drawback is that it only really works in landscape. But.... for all of that... to only have one minor drawback... BUY THIS!

I have truly enjoyed the last two weeks with my new case. The color selection was exactly what I was looking for. I expected to pay more, but was pleasantly surprised. The case hugged the iPad mini very snug and tight. The screen protector allowed the the screen to still be sensitive to the lightest touches and gestures. To top it all off, there is a built in kick stand to support the device when watching a movie or reading, etc. I also remember there being a plug to cover the hole for the headphone jack and other parts. This served as a great way to keep dust and moisture out. Overall, a great case. You won't be disappointed. Unfortunately, it doesn't guard against theft. I lost my iPad Mini two weeks after I got the case. I never saw myself as wanting an iPad Mini since I have the iPhone and MacBook, but since it was a gift, I did enjoy it. Rest assured that when I buy another iPad Mini, I will also buy the exact same case. In the mean time, I'll miss you. May God have mercy on the evil person who stole it.

This is an awesome case for the Ipad mini. I have a 2 and 3 year old that wanted Ipad minis from Santa, so this case was a must. They can throw it, step on it and it always has protected the Ipad mini. I'm so happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

I bought this case so I could protect my iPad and it is great. My 3 year old son drops,jumps and throws the iPad from time to time with this case on no damage at all. Great case and even better price. Thank you

What I like most about this case is the appearance, it's in my favorite color. It is also very durable & the stand so useful. The only thing i don't like is that there isn't a matching case for my iPad & iPhone5C.

I like this case a lot for my daughter! The color is great. I was going to get the "Otter Box" one but saw this one & thought it was just as good...plus it was less expensive! Now I'm not as worried if it gets dropped or something spills!! :-)

My 8 yr old has a iPad mini and has gone though many protective cases. Needless to say we have already replaced his iPad 2x. As I had run out of options this case was recommended to me by a friend. It is not heavy or bulky and does not interfere with the iPad operations. In the past my son has taken the case off because it was bulky, uncomfortable or difficult to maneuver a game. This case is great in all ways, good price, great protection and does not interfere with the use of the iPad. My child has never taken it off (it would be hard to do) and there is not a scratch. Do yourself a favor and buy this case it is cheaper than the otter case and just as effective.

Great tablet protector for half the price. It was for my daughter's mini iPad so I got it in pink, not black like the other big brands.It does and protects like it says. A great buy!

I was looking for a sturdy case since the Ipad is for my 10 year old daughter. The case is definitely keeping the case safe. The stand is great too. Great deal for the price.

Love the color and the protection it gives and the stand so it stands on its own. Could make them a little easier to get off. But all and all a good product.

I debated whether to spend the extra on this case or not. I decided to buy it and am very pleased with my purchase. You have to put it together and I've taken it apart once (in about 2 months) to clean the screen cover well but once you've gotten it together once it's no problem. The case is a durable hard case with some rubber grips and comes with a stand (similar to an 8x10 pic frame stand). I'm glad I spent the extra on this case. Actually, after I added up buying a cheaper case and a screen protector it wasn't much more to get this item and it's so good!

It's great and protects my iPad mini. The stand is a nice addition. It's also easy to take off when necessary. The color choices were good as well.
