The reason I bought this is because I have an aux input but no Bluetooth audio capability in my car. It was on sale so I thought I would give it a try, unfortunately when music is playing only the right side of my speakers are being utilized and the left side is pretty much soundless. So I unplugged the wire connecting to the device and connected the wire to my iPhone instead, audio comes out of both sides of the speakers. This only leads to the Bluetooth receiver as the issue. I have since contacted griffin, but they want me to send them pictures via email or fax of: 1.destroyed item 2.confirmation # and 3.copy of receipt and wait another 2 weeks for a new one to be shipped. I'd rather go back to best buy and just return the item. Thanks but no thanks griffin, nice idea just not great. Plus it is Way too expensive at regular price for comparable products out there.

    Works but has some annoyances

This product works with my iphone 6 plus as advertised. Pros: works and sounds great Connecting to the device is simple Comes with small aux cable Cons: only auto reconnects to iphone if the bluetooth remains on. If you turn off your bluetooth and then turn it back on you will need to reconnect to the device by going to settings and reconnect to it. Annoying! (but if you always leave your bluetooth ON on your phone it should reconnect when you turn your car on once again) Audio skips the first few seconds of the next song playing. Sometimes the audio would cut or skip. Fixed this by simply unplugging the device and plug it back in and reconnect. This is annoying when it happens but only happened to me a few times. Overall would recomment this product. Hopefully a version 2.0 comes out and would fix some issue then it would it 5 stars. For now only 4.

    This Tiny Device Does Wonders

I absolutely love being able to get in my car and immediately connect through bluetooth for playing music and hearing my GPS directions, etc. It can connect to multiple devices, which is very nice. However, since connecting it to more than one device, I do find that it doesn't automatically connect to mine any longer, even when my phone is the only device in the car. So, instead of cycling through devices until one connects; it seems to only look for the most recently linked device. In order to make it look for my device again, I have to make my phone forget it, then pair it again, and it makes my phone the default device.

    Never worked

I had purchased this unit a month ago and tried it out. Firstly they made the device way to small. For older vehicles (and possibly newer) it never fully powered due to how small they made it. Instead they went for a discreet look instead of functional look. I exchanged it thinking that MAYBE it (as in the fuse) was bad. I tried the other one which powered but at the slightest touch it would shut off. I finally got it to power without shutting off and as i started using it, the music would only play on one side of the vehicle. Last straw. Instantly returned.

Not bad, not bad at all

Not bad at all. Works great, pretty great audio quality. I use it in my 2010 outback in the center console which is right next to my aux port so the 2inch cord it came with worked great for me. Only complaint, is that sometimes when I turn my car on, the device won't turn on, (the port works fine, I've tested the device in other ports and got the same problem) but a simple unplug and plug in turns it on. And occasionaly, the audio will cut out, but it's always less that 5 seconds. Over all, not bad

The iTrip AUX bluetooth did not turn out to be as I expected. It disconnected too often in the car (which it was only about 2ft from my phone). And sometimes it would not automatically connect on start up, while other times I'd actually have to unplug and plug it back in. Hopefully mine was just a dud, but wasn't worth my time to go and replace it with the risk of this all happening again so I just returned it.

My close friend spent over $200 to get wifi installed in his car and I only spent 60 plus tax. It gets no better than that specially since this product works to perfection. Luv it, luv it luv it. I am thankful to my Best Buy rep who told me about it and gave me the last one which he was actually holding for himself. Awesome product & Awesome customer service!!!

I have this in my 2007 BMW 335i with iDrive. Plugged in inside the center console right next to the aux port. It seems to work well, but I find that the music cuts out periodically and can be from 1 second to 20 seconds. It'll just stop. If it wasn't for that, I'd give it 5 stars and would absolutely love it. music quality is great.

Thought this would be great. Eliminating the 2nd audio wire. But the Itrip app is glitchy and the unit itself will not hold a station and no matter how many stations I tried they were never clear. I have got a number of FM transmitters and paid 1/2 the price for ones that are twice as clear. Back to the drawing board Griffin. I will be returning it.

When the iTrip AUX Bluetooth transmitter works, the sound and quality is terrific and easily connects to any of the bluetooth devices we are using in the car. However, about every third-time that transmitter doesn't turn on. I have to unplug it from the lighter socket, and reinsert it a few times until the blue light goes on. This does get annoying.

This product does not work well for me. Songs skip when played on it (cut in and out). My iPhone does not skip when connected to other Bluetooth sources, such as a Bose speaker. Also, the last played song does not begin playing automatically again when reconnected.

I love this for listening to playlists from my phone while on the road. The only issue I have is when receiving a call I have to switch to speaker on the phone because the person on the other end can't hear me. Minor inconvenience if you don't receive alot of calls while driving.

This works great almost all the time on occasion I will have to go into the BT settings on my phone and have to hit connect but nearly 95% of the time it auto connects. this was a huge improvement from me having to use mini cables for the phone all the time

worked on 1st try. just like adding a Bluetooth ear piece. connects everytime I get in car. I guess only draw back if you consider it to be 1 is that it has a blue light that stays on but knew that when purchased. future 1 would be nice if a usb slot was part of it

Paired easily. Maintains a good connection with my iPhone. Only beef is that on about 1/3 of the songs, they seems to "skip" for a second at the start. Doesn't happen when I'm listening with headphones or my bluetooth speaker, only with this device.

I'm particularly impressed with the dual USB access. Couldn't understand why the several DC adapters I own would not charge my devices until my BEST. BUY associate explained the different current capacity requirements of the various USB devices

I have a 2008 LR3. The aux input is in the REAR seat area and has a socket next to it. PERFECT. Bought a very short aux cord and it looks neat and tighty. Only problem? The Bluetooth "skips" a bit once in awhile. Can't explain it. Oh well.

The product is only a piece to the whole being able to use the blue tooth of my cell phone through the stereo system. I was told at the store this was all I needed. Incorrect and I have not been able to use the blue tooth in the car.

Does everything it is supposed to do.Also I like that it is not very visible since most of it is inside the cigarette lighter!! The only visible part is the top and the cord which blends well with my black dashboard.

Not sure if it's my setup or not, but every song I play when using Spotify, seems to stutter for the first second or two. but it does exactly what I was looking for, so I'd have to say it's a good prouct.
