It's my absolute pleasure to do a review for this season 5. First I want to say if you haven't watched or purchased season 4 do it because that is excellent and you will be lost watching season 5 if you don't. After watching season 4 I didn't think season 5 could match season 4 or even exceed it,but watching the last disc had my undivided attention!!!! There are confrontations that are juicy!!! And the bad guys are giving the good guys everything they can handle!!!! Season 5 is good and the last disc sets it off takes it to another level. Of course it ends in a cliff hanger. The Grimm's limits are tested to say the least. His entire team has been tested is being tested!!!! My favorite characters are the Grimm(Nick),The Bluteboton(Monroe),The Zouberbeast(Police Chief) Rosa Lee and the daughter of the Police Chief who has been reintroduced. She has a lot of power. And Hexonbeast(Eve) I'm planning on watching again the last disc. Now it's my understanding that season 6 will be the last season. I really hope not. If it is let's hope it goes out with a bang. I purchased this incredible season 5 set at a low low Black Friday Price. Shout out to Best Buy for that Price. This season 5 is a must if you are a fan of GRIMM!!!!

It seemed like it took forever for this DVD to come out. There are 5 beautiflly decorated disks with 22 episodes of of the chilling series Grimm. The episodes keep you on the edge of your seat. What will happen to Nick now? What will happen between Nick and his one time enemy Adalind who is also the mother of his son, Kelly? Will Captain Renard still protect Nick? What will happen to Nicks partner Hank? What Wesens will they encounter and what will the Black Claw have in store for Nick and Hank? The suspense of the 5 season was very much worth the wait. We thought they were amazing the graphics the stories. It was fantastic. I would recommend this to a friend. We have the other 4 seasons and love them all.

For better or worse, Grimm has played it safe for the first three seasons. Hiding within the comfort zone of a police procedural, the series has been happy to offer entertaining morsels without much concern for character or plot development. Propelled by the sudden upheavals in Season 4, Grimm finally gains a sense of purpose and urgency in its fifth season. Anchored by the Black Claw, the nicely-wrapped episodes are finally heading somewhere. The characters also move out of their comfort zones and grow from one episode to the next. In contrast, the video and audio are the same as before, which is not at all a bad thing. The show favors low lighting and warm colors, so it is nice that the image is strong enough to show different shadings and a decent sense of depth. The soundtrack is anything but subtle. Despite the loudness, however, the audio is not muddled, which is very welcome, with all that is going on in Season 5. The stage is set for Grimm's sixth and final season.

The Grimm tv series is really good. We have all the dvd's through this past season and just got done watching all of them before the new season (and final) starts. It's not your hokey, sci-fi type of show. The characters are really good and completely draw you in. There have been some great twists and season cliff hangars. I'd highly recommend investing in the series. This was the 3rd time we've watched all of them and I'm sure we'll watch them again. Worth the purchase.

It's hard not to love a show with a comely apothecary, and it's impossible not to love the new season of Grimm. I have been a season ticket holder for Grimm since day numero uno! I like Sci-Fi & Fantasy so this fits right in to my tastes. I even watch reruns; bingeing on my days off. For those who disparage this show, I say "watch something The writing, production and character development are exceptional. Yeah, there may be some stretching of character identities throughout, but let's give the writers/produces a break to evolve the story. Not every episode will be great, but what show has that? To you in control: keep the story line flowing & growing. Don't forget the path of the river lest you run into a waterfall.

I love the way the shows keep going with total action from the beginning to the end of each episode. This is a soap-opera style show that keeps you wanting to watch the next. I think the episodes are also stand-alone from the action aspect but the relationships between the stars won't be fully understood. Great action, soft horror. I love to watch this series sitting close to my husband.

Grimm's storyline keeps expanding into quite a unique Super series...& Season 5....has "Blown" it into another level of excellence !!! I never took my eyes off the screen for fear of missing a piece of all the plots going on-let alone the action!!!! Have been a fan of this series from the start and can proudly say "I picked on a winner"....

Grimm is my favorite show and I want it to last in my library for a long time. What better way to catch up and see the details you missed during the season. I will be sad when it final ends in 2017 but you know that I will have that season 6 when it comes out. I will always recommend Grimm all season to everyone. It is just a fun series.

Once again, the fifth season of NBC's "Grimm" does not disappoint. This collection, which also includes bonus footage and gag reels, is a collector's compilation of another NBC hit which the network canceled prematurely. "Grimm" is a well written and conceived series with a stellar cast, whose camraderie is apparent on- and off-camera.

While watching this season all day several things from previous seasons became much clearer. Spoiler Alert: I'm not going to tell you what they are. You will just have to watch them for yourselves. Popcorn, Soda and a warm blanket are a good start. Someone to share it with is a better one. Binge and enjoy :o)

I have loved this TV show from the first season til now!! Characters are well defined. Special effects are amazing. I got a few goose bumps along the way!! The main Character Nick is played by Awesome actor DAVID GIUNTOLI!! Hes the main reason I got into the series.A MUST HAVE for GRIMM fans!!

If you are into fantasy/horror, this is your series. I love the different creatures and situations they get into. I've watched this series from the beginning and really enjoy all the turmoil. The changes in Nick and Juliette's relationship takes some very interesting turns and twists. Love this series!!!

I have not watched the dvd set yet, but I love this series so I have seen it on television, it should be a million times more enjoyable without all the annoying commercials. Grimm is an imaginative and exciting series, I will sorely miss it when it finishes it's last season this year.

I absolutely love Grimm and have been a huge fan since the very beginning of the shows start! I'm so disappointed that the show is going to be ending this season. This is a beautiful and great looking edition for the 5th season! It's glossy, magnetized closes, and is just gorgeous.

This series provides a great spin on the bedtime stories we grew up with. A nice mixture of scare, serious and comedy. It never takes it self too serious. The digital aspect allows you to watch episodes mobile or anywhere without requiring the DVD.
