I love this show, and it's filmed in my neck of the woods. It's a new twist on the grimm fairytales with enough of a police serial aspect of the show to balance out the monster/fantasy aspect of it all. The only downfall to this blu-ray release is that it comes in a 100% cardboard case. I thought studios got rid of these horrible cases. Sure paper is better for the environment, but I'm already buying plastic discs so give me a plastic case so the discs are easy to remove and view without unfolding the whole thing and sliding the disc out of pockets. Thankfully they went with a plastic case for season 2.

I needed something new in my life as far as a series was concerning... i work all hours of the day and night so regular cable tv doesnt cut it for me, however, one night, at 5am i ran across an episode of this show GRIMM... it was the episode of the "let your hair down" sort of a spin on the fairy tale Repunzull, i was instantly hooked and had to start from the beginning. Needless to say i cant WAIT for my season 2 to get here in the mail!

If you like fantasy like Merlin or borgia or game of thrones you should give this a try. I won't say the acting or sets or costumes compares at all to game of thrones or Merlin but the story is set in modern day times which makes costumes seem irrelevant. This took some time to get into since the first two episodes are slow to introduce us to the story however with the main character Nick getting the same treatment i can understand why it was done this way.

you know right from the start its going to be good and as it adds characters and more plot lines by the end of the season you can not wait for season two, easily the best show out there and it is family oriented as well with a little bit of horror, comedy, and all out fun that does not get too carried away, thankfully a good show that did not get cancelled after one year like so many others, you can see this show will keep getting better and better.

Grimm has become the favorite TV series of my wife and I. We both love fantasy and sci-fi and Grimm provides a fresh and exciting new storyline. We love the characters Monroe and Rosalee and they alone are worth watching the entire series. Grimm is a bit gory and scary in places, but not all episodes are like this way. If you have children you will certainly want to watch the episodes to screen them before you let them watch it.

When this show first started it was in a time slot that i was already watching a different show so I never got to see it. Then I found it on sale and decided to but it. It started a little slow, but then it just kept getting interesting with the different Wesen and the character development was great. I really liked the stories and really enjoyed the interaction between the characters. I hope the show goes on for a lot more seasons.

Grimm is a show that has you tangled into its Web from the start and refuses to let you go! It's wonderfully written storyline along with an outstanding cast keeps you intrigued as well as laughing :) If you enjoy Supernatural, Once Upon a Time, Haven...you will be very pleased with this series and may even find a new love for a series like I have! I love the series. The twist on old fairy tales. The extras with the discriptions of the various beast with tie in to video clips from the episodes they were in is fantastic. The show reflects the great deal of detail that has been put into it.

A very good twist on the old grimm fairy tales in modern day portland. Very cool story arc that sometimes gets bogged down by the various cases in each episode—but at least most of these cases are interesting—and I guess it's just the nature of today's episodic TV shows that the overall story arc has to stretch out, but this show definitely makes it worth it.

The tv series Grimm is one of my all time favorites. The characters are interesting and fresh every week. The ongoing story line is intriguing. The special effects are wonderful. This show combines mystery and fantasy into an amazing whole. I have both season one and two and have watched both several times. I never get tired of it.

This show sucked me in from the get go and keeps getting better. I recommend picking up the first season if you enjoy shows like Supernatural and The X-Files. Kind of Monster of the Week type show that is well written with likeable (and despicable) characters to root for and against.

Love the overall show. I like how the actors play off of each other so naturally and the graphics and action are AWESOME! I love to watch it on the big TV at my house with the surround sound (also purchased at BB) , make snacks, beverages and add friends and makes for a great night in!

My husband first introduced me to this show. At first I didn't know what I would think about it. But needless to say I really liked this show. This show is very exciting. It always leaves me wanting to see more. I really like how they bring the Grimm folklore to life.

Really enjoyed catching up on missed episodes of Season 1 of Grimm. Big fan of the show, but I had some gaps so wanted to catch up. This is a very entertaining series. Great cast, special effects, and continuing story line, plus a complete story contained in each show.

I don't subscribe to cable, so I buy my shows on DVD. This is a show that I saw an episode of during a visit with my sister and decided to check out the first season. Very much enjoyed it, particularly the character of Monroe. I have already purchased season 2.

Watching the first season of Grimm was a fun and cool viewing experience. You learn so much about the Grimm's family history which allows you to understand how difficult his romance with a normal human is. Great and weird characters abound in each episode.

Enjoying catching up on season 1 and 2, We look forward to watching it and are rationing it out to last until the start of season 4, love the characters and the story line, one of my favorite shows on TV, interesting to see how the characters meet etc..

I got hooked on Grimm after watching the first season. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to afford the Blu Ray discs but I happened to stumble upon a great deal. I purchased Seasons 1 through 4 at $11.99 per season.

This is a wonderful show. I love how it is written and the cast is amazing. I would definitely recommend this show for anyone looking for something new to watch. It is an awesome show and I think anyone who tries it would love it.

There are too many good shows on these days and I just added another one to my list. I like the shows that demand a bit of a leap of faith and then deliver an interesting mythology - the hero is from a line of individuals that can 'see' the demons and other non-humans that live among us - to go with good characters. Looks like I'll be moving along to Season 2 when I finish.
