This is a great metroid vania type game with an amazing soundtrack and great combat.

I played the first Guacamelee on Wii U and finished it 100% so I was excited to hear it was coming to Switch alongside its sequel, which I was eager to play. The games aren't very different from one another - they are both Mexican/luchador themed action platformers with a neat combo-filled fighting system where you're on a quest to save the world. You get various upgrades through the game to help you open new areas and find secrets like in the Metroidvania genre, with the second game adding even more traversal mechanisms. Don't be fooled by the colorful character designs though - these are hard games and not for the faint of heart. Battles can be tough in both games (though I think boss fights are harder in the first) and there are some extremely taxing platforming sections that will test your skills, but they can be overcome with practice and muscle memory. Thankfully save points are plentiful and you'll often respawn in the same room if you die from spikes or traps etc. Multi-player is available, though I never tried it. Great pair of games though if you're up for the challenge, especially if you aim to tackle the DLC.

A fun Fast paced platform action game. Also comes with some extras. A manual , inside box art , soundtrack and dlc codes .

I am a huge fan of Drinkbox Studios games and was very happy to add these games to my Switch collection. Both games are very well made and the combat and level design is excellent. A great game in the metroidvania style of gameplay with a fun story and fun references throughout.

if you are a fan of the game and want a physical copy you will love this version. Unfortunately you will only get the first game in physical form while the other needs to be downloaded. But the price wasn't too bad.

Most people think Guacamelee is a fighting game like Street Fighter but it is absolutely not. It is a platformer with a story that celebrates Mexican culture and Luchadors. The combat is a bit button mashy but that is not a problem as the game is just so fun and cute.

Excellent graphics and music. Throwback to metroidvania titles and all DLC included.

2 x 1 of a great pair of games. Great graphics, story and controls. Go buy.

I originally got this game on ps4, but that’s when I fell in love and eventually 100% it. I just saw they had this deal for $19.99 for BOTH games so I had to snag it for that price. It’s so convenient being able to play while I’m out.

This combo pack of Guacamelee 1 and 2 is awesome. Both games are fantastic metroidvanias that have tight controls and a good dose of humor. This physical edition also comes with some extras inside, which is always a plus these days.

This game is fantastic! When I read a review about a luchador needing to take down baddies, I was sold. I didn’t realize how funny and engaging it would be and I loved it. I recommend this game to everyone who enjoys platforms games.

Really fun couch co-op game. Very creative visuals and solid gameplay. It has a lot of charm and personality. I can't speak for the single player mode however in regards to the gameplay.

It's hard to explain these games. Look up a trailer, game play video or try a demo of it to see if it is for you or not. Highly recommend this package. Tons of play to get through it all.

fresh feeling metroidvania style game. mucho fun. and thats good because nobody likes old guac. actually i originally played this many years ago, turns out old guac can still be good!

What an amazing game and I have only played the first game. The color, the story and the amazing fun it is to play. What a blast it is so hard to put it down. Awesome game can't wait to play part 2.

Love being able to physically own these great games. You cant go wrong if you have never played before... For those who have the digital version, it would simply be a collection item.

If you are a fun of metroidvania games this is for you! This game includes both games Guacamelee one and two! It is a very colorful game with tons of hours of fun play.

Bought on sale but wasn't expecting a too much. But wow these games were fun. Definitely recommend to any action-platformer/metroidvania fans.

If you like platformers and have have never played Guacamelee, this two game bundle is worth your attention. Lots of zany fun and solid game play.
