really fun game if you love music, i dont know if the song selection beats the original gh, but having original songs is something awesome. they went a little overboard with hammer-ons and pull-offs on a few of the songs, but its alot of fun, definately worth the $.

The game is awsome, the song list could be a little better though. It has some really good songs but it should have some more, i don't know, ac/dc, pink floyd, def lepard, foreginer, who knows mabie even some led zepplin. Overall it is a really, REALLY good game.

This game is no doubt, an awesome one. The graphics are great, and with the cool venues, makes you feel like your actually there. There are a bunch of songs and characters, and the songs are great!! Definitely not a let-down. One of my favorite games ever!

i just bought a 360. before i had a ps2 and guitar hero 3. on ps2 THE GAME GLITCHED ALOT. if you turn on star power, it would skip ahead and make you miss like 15 notes. IT SUCKED. then i played it on 360 and it did not glitch ever. IT IS AMAZING.

I've been following Guitar Hero since the first one and this is the first one not made by Harmonix. I personally don't like how they changed things. It feels more like I am randomly pressing buttons instead of playing a guitar. They made it easier too pull off solo parts by allowing you to not have to hit the notes to the beat. So now you can be completly off beat but, as long as you hit the proper notes in order you'll get them. They also made the solos even crazier so it ended up being harder than the previous game. The graphics are probably about the same as on Guitar Hero 2 which that game didn't look the greatest. They added boss battles this time which doesn't add a whole lot but, they can be fun. This game also features a two player campaign and online play which is good. Overall this is a decent music game, but there are better ones out there.

This is just a great game, there are no instruments but I have rockband for that and this game makes up for that with the music that I like that is not in rockband, The boss battles are fun whereelse could you break one of Slash's strings?

I bought this game because many people said it was different than the gh2 but when i got it and played it it turned out to be the exact same thing so if your going to buy a game like this just spend a few extra bucks and buy rock band.

I would recommend this game to people who have played before and who just love the series and also for people who want to start the guitar hero series. The songs on this game are all good and i would recommend this for sure.

wonderful i like to pwn beautiful online gameplay awsome stuff. niice songs i mean theres better songs but the ones they got is goooooooooooood. i recomend it. if ur a beginner dont matter buy gh3!

I love guitar hero II and i am excited for the new songs... The other day i was wondering what it would be like to play Drangonforrce through the fire and flames and now my dream has come true!!

I really love the Guitar Hero series and am really happy with this one as well! I just hope there is some Nightwish or Within Temptation in some of the updates, such as downloaded songs.

This game is well worth the money. It has disappointing graphics. For what it lacks in graphics it makes up in for online play which is easy to find a match. Overall it is the best Guitar Hero out their but it does fall short to RockBand

this game is awsome and offers a Rockstar feeling that words can not describe... yes it is fun but it can get kinda hard but there is a practice so u can become a Guitar Hero

When i first bought this game i got so addicted to it. The graphics are great and so is the music. If you are uncertain about buying this game, trust me, you should buy it.

This game is good fun , not quite as much fun as the second game but has a sold play list of songs did not like the boss battles but did like the fact that you can now play online co-op. over all this is a sold and fun game.

Amazing idea for a game, really gets you involved, while listening to great music. Amazing replay value, and a great great party game !! Something for the whole family !!

This is an awesome game to play! It may take some practice though to get used to playing at the different difficulties but still this is a great game for anyone!

everything about it is fun and greatly thought out library of songs, its just that guitar hero 2 had better bonus songs, but overal guitar hero 3 is a upgrade

This is an amazing game. The songs are amazing and same with the guitars. Online play is cool and downloadable content is amazing. This is a great buy.
