When I saw 2 guitars in one package I thought you could have both playing different parts of songs. But to my disappointment I've found that you both play lead guitar. Not only that, but only one of the profiles can be logged in at a time (the 2nd guitar is "guest" with no points accrued). BUT what makes this game so cool (single player or two) is GHTV. Basically there's 2 channels of music videos coming at you 24/7. You play what's on TV. So the songs are always changing. And, so far, I haven't paid anything extra for this. (I searched to see if this was a monthly subscription or not and couldn't find that info). Anyways it's pretty cool that you're always getting different content. One thing that really sours the experience (needs improving) is that the controllers (guitars) seem to have connectivity problems. Get one controller synced and the 2nd one drops off, get that one synced and now the 1st one is mia. Speaking of the controllers I do like the new 6 button design. It's actually like 9 buttons. Top 3, bottom 3, then both for another option. It's more like a guitar than just single buttons up and down the frets.

This is a refreshing new spin on the guitar playing game. It is well worth picking up.

This game has a fresh and creatively new approach to the standard Guitar Hero games. This game has ample songs to play which gives it a lot of depth. If you already like Guitar Hero, you should look into this game.

They new guitar is interesting. Other than that it is a pretty mediocre game. It takes a little effort to play individual songs with more than one person.

The live TV music streaming play is very addictive but the opportunity to permanently purchase songs is missed. Also would like to see a co-op campaign and competitive multiplayer return.
