I seem to remember GH being better than it was. It's still a good game and the guitar is new and different, but still feels cheap. I can't get the mic that Best Buy gave me to work, most likely user error but why doesn't it just plug in and work? The game is a different outlay than previous GH games, it's an interesting difference and the multiple "notes" definitely adds more challenge to the game. Songs are a good mix, haven't had to look to see if they sell new tunes but in the past this has always been an option.

Since my son switched over to an Xbox 360 a few years back, we haven't played a lot of Guitar Hero - since the Wii has fallen out of favor. When I saw that one of his favorite games was returning for his new platform, I leaped at that chance to return to the glory days of "Fiendish Pants" our house band. The song selection needs a little work, but that will come in time. The new controller is a challenge, but that too will be mastered. Welcome back, guitar heroes. It's been far too long.

My daughter is 12 and was so excited to receive Guitar Hero. It was a gift and she loves it. Easy to use and she set it all up herself.

Had a lot of fun playing this game. Great addition to our Xbox console. Had some good quality time with family challenging each other.

This is just another great product in the guitar hero series. They added some newer more realistic features to the guitar this time.

The set up of the original guitar would of been easier for my 6yr old son.

This updated game is wonderful. It took a little while to get used to the new guitar, but once you do it's a lot of fun.

we all really enjoyed playing guitar hero. we all took turns recording each other, which made for a festive family night

I bought this for my little sisters birthday and I honestly I'm surprised of how good quality the game is musics good catchy and I really like the live background updates as you're playing if you're doing good the crowd cheers if you're doing bad the crowd boos I really like that gives that concert feel

Bought for my son for Christmas. He loves it. Great gift for a kid that likes to play the guitar.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with the new GH. I used to be a big fan of GH for PS2 and actually bought an XBox360 to play this new version. The two rows of buttons are a difficult transition but really cool. I wish there were more sets in the storymode portion of the game but I do like the live channels and the ability to pick from a larger (ever-changing) song list

Kids love to have friends over to play. Love the free mic where one can sing while the other plays.

Great game and bundle. My son says it great!! Totally different for each system but great buy!!!!

I like the new format. Not only is it challenging, but the background feels alive, a stark contrast to the previous games. But the strum bar doesn't work properly when strumming down... fine when strumming up though. Be aware though that this is an issue with a lot of copies of the game.

The game follows the older Guitar Hero games but with a twist. The new button layout is something to get used to and has a learning curve. but over all the game is decent but I like Rock Band better this go around.

My daughter loves this game and plays it all the time. Glad I got her her own system.

Overall, the new game is pretty fun. We especially enjoy the live footage in the "story mode" and the new online portion is fun as well. My only complaint is that the build quality of the guitar does not seem to hold up very well. Pieces seem to already be sticking - which causes issues when trying to play!
