My son had guitar hero for Xbox 360 and when he upgraded his system he had to have this.

Guitar is more challenging then ever. But it is updated and makes the game a lot of fun.

Solid gameplay, love the GHTV feature, you can add a friend on a second guitar easily.

It is a cool idea, but along with the learning curve of the new guitar, the game just doesn't calibrate itself as well as Rock Band 3 does. Disappointing.

I didn't really like guitar hero much, until GHlive. The controller is so much easier than the old, and I could barely play before. Now I am mastering it more and more because ghtv is just music constantly playing that you dont need to waste plays on. Great mix of music from punk rock, to pop, to heavy metal. Great game. The 4 score is for lack of ability to play two players and having only guitar one signed in. You can't gain points or achievements for guest.

It's great - playing (air) guitar, a video game and jamming on some amazing music all at the same time. Sensory overload... maybe, but a lot of fun!

I recently bought GHLive for Xbox One as a gift for my kids for Xmas. Not only do the kids love this game but the entire family. It is very entertaining with songs for the kids and the grownups.

I have always loved guitar hero and was happy to see a renewal of the franchise. I was worried because they changed the game mechanics. It is hard to adjust to and I feel like the higher difficulties will be all but impossible for a casual gamer like me. Reason for 3 stars is because the menus are difficult to go between and you can get stuck in a menu that you can only leave if you play a song. Other than that its just as fun as always.

My kids love the choice of music. Hours of entertainment. So glad we got it.

Well, its different then the old format. Guitar is redesigned which is nice. The graphics are amazing. Personally, I don't care for the song list. Too much new music for this 30-something.

This is a GREAT game full of fun tunes to play. Difficulty level can be adjusted to meet everyone's ability. The only negative I have found is the lack of on-line play with your friends!
