Bought this game for my son for Xmas. He loves it !

GH is fun, but does require an internet connection to do free play. The new button layout is something to get used to, but adds some challenge to it.

It's really hard to learn the new guitar system even for me and I used to play on expert on the previous games, but this game is really good. Im playing a few songs on expert but the easy ones and the thing is now its only white so you have to manage how not to get confused by the small differences between the buttons

My Wife and I have played this series over the years. Would love to see custom option on songs to play. I know you can download songs, but not always are the songs you want to play available without purchase. The Guitar itself seems ok, love the option to have mirophone. We use an old rockband one that works. Also keep an eye out. These seems to go on sale alot.

If you liked the old GH games, it takes some time to get used to the new control set up.. but it adds a whole new challenge that makes the game fun.

Not as fun as the originals. Song selection kind of weak, but maybe that's just because i'm old now. The live TV is kind of fun though. Solid game.

This new GH is tougher, but worth it. Once you get down the controls, it is a lot more fun than previous GH. The GH TV is an awesome new feature.

had guitar hero for ps2, needed to upgrade and try the xbox. guitar keys are different and need to get used to, but still fun and new songs.

This isn't your typical Guitar hero with live crowds, 2 sets of frets, and no DLC takes some getting used to, but worth a try before you buy!

Being a Guitar Hero veteran, I thought I would give this new one a try. At first, I despised this game, due to the fact that the guitar controller fret buttons are not the same as the old ones. After getting used to the new controller, it feels more like playing a guitar and is definitely challenging. I also like the on-demand feature of picking songs.

I've had Guitar Hero before, so I was a little dubious about getting this game and making a difference. I'm very glad with my purchase. The new guitar feels really good, and the button combinations that are possible with it is outstanding. I can now feel like I'm really playing a guitar! I really enjoyed this guitar and enjoy playing the offline content. The Online content is simply amazing, though! Playing through the music videos felt really great. Not only that, but playing with other people online at the same time and seeing your scores compared was quite interesting. It is such a good game and I would say give it a shot whenever possible.

This game is great in TV mode with a HUGE selection of songs and all of the original music videos!!! The Guitar Hero Live portion of the game is extremely campy/cheesy and the song selection is horrendous. The Guitar Hero TV mode totally makes up for this "Live" shortcoming. The new guitars are great and I love the new button layout.

My husband and I played our fair share of Guitar Hero in the past, but this one totally makes me feel like I'm actually playing a guitar. Learning the new keys/buttons takes some getting used to but right away you feel like a rocker. I love the fact that the song list is constantly updating too.
