Lots harder, and I still think I'm a fraction out of sync, but still fun, and guitar feels good!

If you go into this thinking that it's the "old" Guitar Hero, you will be disappointed. It's much more challenging. GHTV is an innovative and significant addition, making up for a rather lukewarm disc-based music list. If rhythm and music games are still you're forte, then give it a chance, especially if you can find it on discount.

Another good addition to the game series. Does require work to open access to all the music available but worth the time and effort.

I will a little hesitate to get this for my 13 year old son thinking that it was going to outdated, but to my surprise he LOVED it. He got several other video games and he has been playing this one the most. Even my husband and 8 year old daughter loved it. Great upgrade from the original!!!

Overall I'm enjoying the game and the new guitar layout. I like GHTV but wish you could have a easier selection of songs to play.

I liked the old GH better, they made this one harder and that is not what I was looking for.

This version of Guitar Hero is much more realistic than the other ones, which is nice. In the same sense, I do miss parts of the old game. The keys have changed on the guitar, so that was a bit of a learning curve. I do enjoy the fact that there is a wide gamete of songs to choose from.

I've been playing Guitar Hero since the beginning. The button layout is different from the original so it's like learning how to play all over again. That makes it fun.

If you played the older Guitar Hero's, you know the cartoons were pretty corny. It's a cool concept of having a live audience.

The only thing we found bad was the game would hang up occasionally while playing, might have been the internet connection.

If you have played Guitar Hero in the past, I think this game is a mixed bag. The changes in the instrument buttons are cool in some ways, annoying in others. If you like playing different songs, this is a good choice. If you enjoyed playing through and unlocking songs in the older GH games, this version felt short.

I am very glad they moved from the traditional style of the game. The new guitar will be extremely frustrating to the seasoned player, but fun once you get the hang of it. WHY THE 3 STAR- Syncing. For some reason I cannot get the syncing to be correct (when you try to strum on a note). You know the note is supposed to be hit at that moment, but it is a miss. this is a noted problem in boards

it's new yet familiar, gone are the old 1 fret buttons replaced by two on each fret with a total of 6 buttons in all.

Having a blast while playing. Im a huge fan of guitar hero they didn't disappoint. So many songs and good guitar feel.

Great game not only do you got the guitar but i got the mic as well so my lady could play or in her case sing along.

I'm way behind on playing this game, but am hooked. Highly recommend if you've ever daydreamed about going on tour.

Decent game. Could have a better song list. Totally new way to play guitar hero.

This version of GH is so much fun. The guitar feels good. Good selection of music ....I'm sure there's more to come

Fun game. Not the greatest, but a lot of fun to play. I like the live crowds.

Ive been a fan of this series since Guitar Hero 2. Brand new guitar layout makes it different, but it's missing what made the originals so great. This game is more Rock Band than it is Guitar Hero. Kinda missing making your own characters and the soundtrack is missing Rock/Metal. More of a Pop feel to it.
