I was a huge fan of the Guitar Hero franchise when it first launched in 2005. So you can imagine how excited I was to learn that a new game was being released after a 5 year hiatus. The new improvements to both the game and controller exceeded my expectations.

You got two modes, a decent song list (series has seen better) so get it on sale, good stuff but not at MSRP

With a re-vamped guitar and a slew of new features, it's a good upgrade.

Great selection of current songs to play. Still learning the new button set up but it's a good challenge.

I got this on sale. I dont know if I would pay full price but it was worth the sale price.

It's even harder for pros!! I can barely play expert. My friend who hasn't played it much dislikes it.

This is fun, and it would be nice if previous versions of Guitar Hero could be played on xBox One.

Easy to learn, like the live and tv modes. For me, the only thing holding this back from a higher review is the music volume. I simply can't rock out. Menu sounds are very loud when volume is turned up but music volume lags behind. I want to rock this on my home theater setup!

Everyone loves this game a lot different from the other guita Heros I will say the dongles SUCK! If you have a Xbox one I will say disconnect the Kinect if you are having guitar issues and it will work fine something messes with the signal

Got this on sale so that goes with the review. Its fun as you would expect a GH game to be. Some fun changes and modes are cool but I think older games had better soundtracks. The biggest bummer is that the controller is 100% new and all your old controllers are worthless.

I don't like the subscription for extra songs, other than that it's a good remake of guitar hero.

This is not the guitar hero that I grew up with and loved. There are 2 modes Live and TV. Live has you play sets of songs which is like a story mode where you unlock the songs and images from the sets you play. The second mode of play is TV and it takes you to the GHTV page. Here songs are constantly played 24 hours a day randomly. You're always playing against other peoples scores who are both offline and online. Playing through the random songs levels you up unlocking more features and allowing you to buy songs on demand to play. If you don't want to keep playing to rack up enough points to get more plays you can also spend real money but it's really not worth it. I know that the GHTV has some appealing features but it just isn't for me

Def different feel for a guitar hero game but it's cool that they tried something different!

Definitely a learning curve to playing this compared to old guitar heros. Love the ghtv mode.

Bought for Christmas Gift, but have had before. Super cool game! Son will love!

Great live mode let's you keep playing new songs. No need to purchase like previous entries
