Great new version

It takes some getting used to but when you play it a few times it's a lot of fun. You play sets to unlock more songs. The live crowd is great makes you feel like your on stage. It's fun getting them to react to how you play

Fun and different

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Guitar Hero series, but it is still plagued with the same complications as all the other music based games: The wireless controllers. The guitar for my 1st attempt at this game would not calibrate properly and I had to return it for another version. Still, great game, and the GHTV service is awesome. Just get a working guitar with it and you'll love it.

Not the same....

There are top and bottom fret buttons (6 total) and I had a hard time getting through the tutorial much less trying the actual game (haven't done yet). I guess time and practice will help but for a much anticipated reprise I was frustrated and wanted something similar to the original format.

Bought this for my husband and he loves it! I enjoy it a lot but I wish there was something between casual and regular intensity, because even regular is hard to keep up with! Different than the old guitar hero, but I think once I learn more I won't be as discouraged!
