This is a fun game but the campaign portion is very short though.

This is a very well put together game feature wise but lacks severely in song choice. The new gameplay and guitar add alot to freshen up the music game genre but its inclusion of songs largely from the last 15 years is an odd choice and only takes away from a great and inventive frame.

Great game. Liked the new guitar and Guitar Hero TV is cool too.

The new layout for guitar play is a nice change. Playing with 6 buttons (two rows of three) creates more of a challenge and adds a touch of realism. A con would be song list. Not a fan of the overall music selection. Would like to see more classics. They claim to continuously add new music with the guitar hero TV version however I find that not to be the case. Song selection remains the same. New songs are added occasionally as you advance through the live version but the TV version was advertised as having channels of music videos that change. There are only two channels and they play the same songs. Also, another big con is doing away with downloadable content. If we could at least have the option to download other songs to play I would give it 4+ stars. Overall, I enjoy the game and increasing my play status will be fun and challenging. Just wish I could play different songs. Game was not what I was expecting. Hopefully next version will pick up the slack.

Love the new guitar. Is a little harder than expected at first

This game reinvents rhythm game guitar gameplay. The Guitar Hero TV feature is a 24/7 streaming feed of music videos to play along to that will supposedly be added to over time for free.

According to my 23 year old grand son, harder than the previous but well worth the money. Has friends over every night and have contests.

Good time play with daughter and she loves it play regularly

This is an awesome game. Has kept me so busy and entertained and so much better than the previous versions. The guitar buttons are different which makes it harder for me - but I love it

The change to the controller is challenging but well received

It's good to get back into the guitar hero groove, but this one is a little different from before. The guitar has some changes that make it a little more challenging, but it feels a lot better when you pull something off. I wish the main songs were a little more to my taste, but the more I play them, the better they seem to get. Worth a try.

if you played older guitar hero games this will drive you crazy at first because the button layout has changed and is WAY harder. Also don't lose the USB dongle or you won't be able to sync the controller

Not a bad reboot and challenging. Also a bit frustrating

The controls were a little tough to get used to, but once I did I loved the game. Even songs I don't like are fun to play. Recommended for new and returning guitar hero players
