Not a bad game but should cost less

I didn't get into the GH or RB scene until last November. While I prefer RB over GH, it's nice to play some of the older songs from the previous GH titles now. Most people will gripe that the songs cannot be exported into other games and I agree. RB allows you to do this so you pull out one game and start playing. Am I upset that I bought this? No. I knew what I was getting. Read the contents of the game or an article online before buying if you're debating this game.

    Standard Issue Game

This is a standard issue GH game. The greatest hits are a good selection of songs, but nothing spectacular. The 2 biggest hits are still missing, Hanger 18 and Madhouse. Good skill game and as usual, a pain for trophies. The platinum is pretty much unattainable; I don't know anyone that can play Slayer and Dragonforce on expert perfectly. It's fun for a couple of play throughs and that's it.

    Just Another Guitar Hero Game

These games are getting out of control. With each new release which seems to be almost every week now. Guitar Hero has lost its appeal in my opinion. If your new to the series, pick it up, but if not. Why pay for a game just so you can rock on the drums and mic.

    Very good game

This is a great GH game. It is like having all of the great songs from all GHs in one game, plus it adds some of the features of the latest versions, like the bass and drums. In the past at parties I would have to switch between GH world tour, GH aerosmith, and GH legends of rock. This game has the best songs from all of the GHs, including the old ones I never played. The gameplay is as good as previous versions. I am very happy I bought this game.

Auborine nailed it, just plain boring. There really isn't much change to these games. Save your money, and go get RB2.

    Music Library Keeps Growing!!

Not sure if i agree with Auborine saying it's just another Guitar Hero game, it is, but now they've extended their music library, so we can enjoy our GHWT parties with a larger music selection... This totally has replaced my Karaoke machine. So i say bring on more music!!! Can't wait for GH 5.
