Very good tax software

No Activation Code

Called and they seemed not to know what i was talking about but finally said someone from the Download Dept would call me. No one called. I called H&RB got an automated Activation Code but when it came time to efile it wasn't valid. Got several more auto generated Activation Codes which didn't work. Called H&RB finally got a real person and they gave me a code which worked. No more Best Buy downloads.

Posted .Hello - You should have received an activation code via email when you purchased the software. If you have not received, I would recommend checking your junk/spam folders. If you are using gmail, depending on your settings, messages from retailers could be filtered to your 'promotions' folder as well. If you are still having trouble, you can reach out to our Client Services team at 1-800-HRBLOCK between the hours of 7am and 7pm CST and they will provide you with one.

No Activation Code received by Best Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered the download version of this from Best Buy and it states under my purchases for the activation code: "DOESNOTNEEDCODE", which is baloney. I contacted Best Buy customer service and the best help I get from them is "Contact H&R Block. Here, we've conveniently provided their number for you to call and wash our hands of this." So I call them to get a "replacement activation code" and that doesn't work either, or the next one, or the next one. It astounds me that Best Buy would actually sell computer software and claim it would not need an activation code. Thank you for selling me a product that doesn't work. thank you for asking me to do the legwork to get the code that you should have provided at purchase in the first place. Lesson learned: never purchase a download version of software from Best Buy ever again.
