Posted .H&R Block has discontinued the CD version of our software - making it more efficient for our customers and more ecofriendly. You can choose the digital version - download instructions and an activation code will be emailed to you. The physical version can be purchased instore or online. If you purchase online - download instructions and an activation code will be mailed to your home.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this (basic) version of H&R Block tax software for 10 years and have no qualms recommending it to anyone who knows what they're doing when preparing their own tax return and just wants the convenience of having the program put everything in its place on the tax return and do all the math for you. But just to be clear, where it says Software Format: Physical, you will NOT get a physical CD. What you will get is a physical piece of paper that contains instructions on how to download the software. Just want anyone thinking of purchasing the "Physical Software Format" version to be aware of this.
