This is the most basic version of this tax software. It does everything most people will need.

I switched from a similar software product that I used for YEARS, to H&R Block 2-3 years ago for several reasons - including cost. I have been completely satisfied and will continue using this product.

This program is very easy to use and very reliable, been using the program for the last 7 years

I always used to go to an H&R office to do my tax filing. This is better by far and cheaper

I've stuck with tax cut/ h&r block self tax prep basic software for the last 7 or 8 years and pretty simple to use. Expect extra 30 -45 minutes of prep time to download, run updates and import prior year's return before you call your spouse over to start on this year's return. I have never used the additiinal hr block audit support so can only say the software works for me.

I used to buy Turbo Tax (TT) long time ago. When TT raised their price for the basic tax (disc format), I looked at another alternative, Tax Cut (now H&R Block Tax Software). It is simple to use. I have been using H&R Block for several years. Best Buy always has the disc version and always matches the lowest price. Thank you Best Buy!

Need new software for doing taxes in an expeditious manner. Years ago H&R Block bought this from Andrew Tobias Tax Software. When I first used the aforementioned Tax Software, Tobias was on five 5" floppy disk. The quality has improve since those days by < 90%

this program is for people who have straight forward returns without many questions. Easy to use and input info. Electronically file or print and mail. Will store info on a thumb drive for back up. They have more expensive programs for more complicated returns.

Have used this software for the past 20 some years (used to be called Tax Cut). Will handle all items related to form 1040, including all 1040 schedules. Excellent and easy to use tax software.

We are required to file taxes and tax software really helps to find all available deductions and minimize taxes paid. You are required to pay tax, but not more than your legal amount.

This is good, reasonably priced tax software for basic returns. Interview is easy to go through. Would probably recommend more advanced H&R Block software for more complex returns.

This is a very user-friendly product. Once you have installed it, it is so easy to import your basic info the next year once you have upgraded to the current year software.

Using H&R Basic tax software for many years since Turbo Tax became expensive. Like the CD version versus the online version. BB priced match it again. Thanks BB.

It covers everything you need to do your taxes. Explains as you go along. Support is there at your fingertips. You can save money at no charge.

The program works. It walks you through the entire tax return. Last year I used the tax program and also had my taxes done by a professional and they were within a few dollars if each other

Loved this software. Wish I would have bought the version that included state as well though. I'll know better next year.

Software is fine for the average returns, no need to purchase deluxe. State returns are usually free to file, per state.

The navigation was a little different and so was set up they also charge 39.99 to down load state. I prefer Turbo Tax
