It downloaded just fine. I got in it and started my return, then I realized that I was missing some of the documents needed to finish my return. I saved what I had done, and several weeks later when I went to complete the return, my saved portion of the return was gone. I had to start all over again. When I got back in, once I had everything to complete the return a message came up saying that I needed to download a software update... Well that update would not upload so I completed the return without it. Everything seemed ok, until I got to the part to E-File. That portion of the software did not work, so I had to print it out and file by mail. When you E-File, the refund should take about a month. Mailing the return, it MAY take 3 times that long. I am also concerned that something else could be wrong because I was unable to access that final update. It is still better than the last time I used Tax Prep Software. Last time I used Turbo Tax and it was way worse. TT may have improved for the 2022 tax year, but I don't plan on using TT again.

I have used H&R Block Tax Software for years. The user is led through a series of questions that helps you get from start to finish with your taxes. Even if you have to make adjustments along the way, the software updates all your figures automatically. At the end it analyzes the data to let you know how accurate your return is.

Easy to use and worth the price. It’s basically like most good tax software that walks you through the process quickly while making your options for deductions easy to apply.

I prefer H&R block over the other SW packages because it's typically less expensive and very easy to use. Covers everything I need from investment income to selling a home.

I find the software easy to use and it spells out what you need to do step by step. This year, I did have an issue that I needed to call them about. It was just a tax question. Their staff took their time to help me find the answers I needed. While I had a wait on line, it was a reasonable period of time. We will continue to use their program for our taxes.

best tax software i have been using it for years and years

This program is less expensive than Turbo Tax (which I prefer) and did get the job done in the end, but not without some problems. I imported data from one brokerage with no trouble but was unable to import any data from Morgan Stanley. The Morgan Stanley tech department investigated and said the problem was not on their end. A call to H&R Block did not resolve the problem of the repeating error messages, although the rep tried. This was disappointing as the main reason for buying software was to avoid having to manually enter a lot of data. Everything else in the program worked adequately well.

I have been using H&R Block tax preparation software for over 20 years (originally TaxCut). It has always assisted me in preparing an accurate federal income tax return without any issues or complications. Would always recommend this product.

I have been using this product for several year. For the pri e ut does a great job. Most of the questions are easy to understand, and the tips are helpful.

I've used this software for years without any issues. Very easy to use and ensures everything is done correctly. Can't beat the product for ease of use and the price.

Have not finished using it but works as previous versions have. Makes it easier and easier to not forget items after using it the first time.

I normally do my tax returns online so using this software was really straight forward. The software includes 5 free e-files so the cost of purchasing it is a lot cheaper than paying to file online 5 times.

Works fine. I use this every year. I do have to search for the right product to not overpay and not buy more than I need.

Easy to use software but useless again this year if you need Form 8915-F for disaster assistance from 2020. Never discloses this anywhere during purchase and then you're screwed in trying to get your money back. I'm shocked there isn't a class action yet as this is the second year in a row they played this game.

Great software, great price. I used TurboTax for years, which is also a great product, but the cost difference was enough to check this out. Works great, lower cost!

Easy to download, navigate and file. I am considering using H&R Block for 2023 Tax year as well.
