I went back to H & R Block software from Turbo Tax, greater ease of use and lower COST. Easy to use and works just as good if not better!

I buy this product every year. It is easy to use and you can password protect your documents. The prior year returns can be imported so you don't have to remember or re-enter info.

I have been using H&R Tax software for years. I like that I can import information from the previous year and just edit certain things. It asks lots of important questions that makes you realize that you can claim more than you think and it helps you to prepare for the next year so that you take advantage of things that you may not have thought of this year. For example. I'm now going to pay attention to how many miles it takes me to go to all of my doctor's and physical therapy appointments. You can claim that.

And because of it importing data is a breeze. Have always had good results with this product and will look for it next tax season.

I am a former TurboTax user but converted to H&R Block the past 2 years. This product is easy to use and the results are identical to TurboTax for much less. Highly recommend!

This program is just like going to a professional at an H&R Block office. All the steps are easy to follow and the videos and walkthroughs explain all the details I need. I appreciate having assistance going through all the complexities of multiple jobs as well as life changes this year. Everything easily imported from my last year taxes as well making less work for me. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to get their taxes done and has anything more than the simplest situation.

Easy to learn software, all the help you need in one place with explanations in every section. Very accurate, feels like your getting the most you can back on your returns.

I've used this for years. It's easy to use and inexpensive. If you have simple noncomplicated returns, this is the way to go

I have been using the H&R Block tax software for years. It continues to be easy to use and, I hope, completely accurate. I like the fact that it includes 5 free e-filings for Federal taxes. This allows me to do my taxes as well as those for each of my adult children and e-file them at no extra cost. (If you e-file the state forms, you need to pay extra.) (Please don't ask me if it works for specific tax concerns. Read the information about it and decide for yourself if it will work for you.)

Over the years I have used both H&R Block and Quicken Tax software (along with trying it by hand and using some of the free software). This is without a doubt the easiest most complete package available. I have a small one person business plus my personal taxes plus my State taxes. This covers everything really well. I can also use the package for my daughter and my son at no extra cost. For my situation I found that Quicken was way too comprehensive and complicated. This one is just right.

I have been using the HR Block Tax SW for over 10 years now and it has never steered me wrong! The program is able to answer most of the general questions and for the first time this year I needed additional help which the nearest HR Block office was more than happy to answer for me...at no charge! Some of the features I like is being able to import last years info, compare multiple years return and the Deduction Pro which easily helps you figure out what your charitable deductions are.

The program filed my taxes using a very easy step by step process, and for less then Turbo Tax. However there was one major flaw. In my state there was an error that when the state income tax was filed the state filed the local tax automatically and because there was no place in the program to file local tax withheld it filed it as no local tax payed. Naturally it caused some issues resulting in me having to call my state tax department to report the error. To be fair this was a flaw on my stateside not from the program because as the tax department told me the error effected Turbo Tax as well.

Great software for the do-it-yourselfer. Easy to follow, step by step instructions. I've used it for the last 6 years now.

Very user friendly. The questionnaire style interview directs you to the questions that pertain to your tax situation.

I have used this every year for at least 5 or 6 years, maybe longer. I have two gripes about it this year. 1) some of the words were cut out of view and I couldn't find a way to resolve it so I was left wondering if I answered the question correctly. And 2) I have now been doing my kids taxes for them with this program since there are 5 free federal e-files included. The problem is they only need to use the EZ form and this program only only uses the long form. I know they can still file it that way, but why complicate things more than needed. They should include use of all tax forms available.

Reason I decided to try this was due to rising and unreasonable cost of Turbo Tax which I had used for prior 13 years. I would have given this 5 stars but for an issue trying to import last years turbo tax. File had password and rather than telling you that or letting you enter password I received some lame error code that I had to google -where I learned I had to remove password to import file. Also had a question and contacted them using 1-800 number - that did not work out at all and wound up finding solution on my own. Other than that it worked GREAT and I was able to do my investments.
