Easy to use, updates available before filing, information checks and suggestions, snd easy filing on line.

I've purchased H&R Block tax software for years (and before that the Taxcut software). Meets my needs for tax preparation. Had to contact H&R Block once regarding a question on how to complete a tax form and the person was clear in their instructions and I was able to complete and submit the forms. I've been very satisfied over the years with the software and appreciate as I get older that installing it and updating it on new PC's remains a consistent process. I only wish it was easier to access older versions of the software on newer PC's. There should be some type of viewer function to allow older tax forms to be opened on new PC's without relying solely on PDF versions. Sometimes it's nice to go back into the software itself.

Makes filing taxes a no brainer. A very fair price for software that gives some peace of mind when filing taxes.

switched over from TT, H&R block is super easy to use! Like many others, I dread tax time. This was my 2nd year using H&R, so I was able to file fed and state in record time! With this software, you’re able to import your previous year’s return and any supporting documents and forms, and includes wonderful explanations for every question. Thank you H&R Block for this great app! I was able to file faster than doing laundry!

Been using H&R Block for many years after switching from turbo tax. Saves me money and does the same job.

I had two minor issues. 1) The software doesn't ask you to download the STATE until you complete the federal. I'd like to download it before I start. 2) I mistyped the product key at download time and it still allowed the download and completion of my taxes. It didn't CATCH the error until I tried to file the entire return. It was easy to fix, but I think that it should have caught my error right away.

H&R Block 2023 software was really easy to use. I've used it for the past 6 years. Everything is explained step-by-step. I'd rather pay less than $40.00 for the software, than $200.00 for a professional to do our taxes. We "e-filed" and got our returns in less than 2 weeks. : )

for many years now ,, using HR tax software lets me complete my Fed and State in a few hours ,, where if you try to do it manually it will take you days reading writing calculating ... the tax filing experience is so complicated you can't do it manually ,, and i will never use a tax advisor who would then know how much i make ,,, it's private ..

This tax software is very user friendly. I have been using H&R Block's tax software for many years. It has helped me through. And one year when I did run into difficulties, I was able to go into an H&R Block office, and they were to help me at no additional charge. I have been highly satisfied, which is why I continue to purchase this software each year, and Best Buy often has the best deal on it.

Been using H&R Block tax software when it was called Tax-Cut. Easy to download, install and import the previous year's information. Once our Federal tax info in entered and complete, our State information is pulled automatically with only a few additional checks and entries. Will continue to use and purchase in the future.

H&R Block tax software has worked great for the past decade. The software asks the question and you populate the cells which are applicable. The software also verifies the information to ensure everything is entered. If you need to have a tax specialist to review the information, just take to your local H&R Block office.

I've used a different tax software for years, but it was being priced out of my range, so I switched to this one and I love it. It's very easy to use and navigate and the Chat help is wonderful. The review questions asked almost everything I needed it to - there was no question about having a State IP PIN only Federal - but the FAQs pointed me in the right direction.

Consistently Good and simple to use. I have used it for the past 4 years and switched from TT. This is easier to use than its competition and cheaper. The interface appears dated but it is only an aesthetic issue

I was skeptical at first and used to always go to the H&R Block office and pay $200+ for the same service. The software is really simple to install, update and use. Bought on 31March, completed Federal & State (CA) on Apr 01 and E-filed both. Got my refunds deposited in my bank account on Apr 9th(State) and Apr10th(Federal). I would highly recommend it.

This years version did not have a glitch. Well, not one that I found. I've been using H&R for many years now, and most years there is always something thats not quite right. Not this year. Reason for 4 and not 5 stars is I don't like some of the formatting used. But they're all like that.
