Had a hard time finding TaxCut but got it at a good price at Best Buy. I’ve been using Tax Cut since 1998 and it is a great software for income taxes. Even though I’m not an accountant, I do my own taxes some of which are rather complex. Tax Cut has saved me a lot of time and effort and used to come with free advice from HR Block tax services if you were stumped. Great software

I made the switch to HR Block's software a couple years ago after I finally became fed up with TurboTax's software. They made it nearly impossible to complete your taxes without being endlessly harassed to upgrade to a much higher priced software. I have been very happy with switching over to HR Block's software and would recommend it to others. I like the simplicity of the software and feel that it thoroughly covers everything.

The HR Block Tax software was easy to use, the tax questions was very straightforward to answer. The software help me claim other taxes credits, I didn't know I was eligible for.

Same as last year (when I was actually able to get through to their software support and they sent me a link to download the Mac state program) the included state program does not automatically download then start in the State program install page. After selecting the state the Program wants you to buy it but it is supposed to be included with Premium. There is no solution inside the program. You have to waste hours trying to get support from hr block. Then after no joy there solve it on your own by researching the issue online. The app instructions to reinstall the state program do not work as the is no dmg file For the state anywhere but rather the state plugin file on level up in the Library directory. Horrible broken phone and online support that will misdirect your call even after several explanations to the person you eventually get to. I gave up and luckily found online comments on other sites that led to a solution. Thanks to Mike M on Amazon for the 2020 version! This is the last time I’ll use this product. Solution: This worked for me… after selecting your state in the drop down menu and before paying for it on the next screen, then on your Mac find the plug-in file xx.tcstate21 (where xx is your state's two letter abbreviation). After quitting the main program Double click on the located file to launch the state return. Once doing that the state program functions in the main program and you then should be good to go. Good luck.

This was easy to download as long as you have the latest operating system for Apple. Last year was terrible. I bought a new MacBook Pro this year.

Great software program for taxes. I miss getting CD disc for install. You now receive a paper box. Hard to get use to. I love the H&R Block tax program.
