This year TurboTax gave the middle finger to the half of all PC owners still running Windows 10. 2025 TurboTax will ONLY run on Windows 11. And, many of us are locked into Windows 10 because you can't install 11 on a 7-year computer. So, after 25+ years with TurboTax, I decided to give H&R Block a try. So far, my transition has been much easier than I expected. I'm still on a learning curve but I'm finding it easy to use and that it has all the functionality I need. I'm very pleased and would recommend this product.

A product that was supposed to work with Windows 10. Guess again. Two calls to tech support. Over 2.5 hours on the phone. Nothing. Thank goodness I only paid $42. Only good thing about customer service…they answered the phone.

H&R Block does an excellent job once again at putting together an easy to use piece of software, making it easy for those with little tax experience to file their taxes with ease and the support of their built-in assistant. For preparers: this software gives you an amazing set of tools available in more expensive software, access to a vast number of forms, a huge library of tax research that is constantly updated, and many other features that are usually reserved for a full tax practice! This makes the H&R Block Premium and higher the best option for those who are tax experts, do their own taxes, might do a few other's, too, but are not up to the capacity of needing a full suite of "professional-grade" commercial practice tax software. This is really about as close as one might get to that level without paying for a commercial practice tax software. Overall, if you're looking for an easy experience to complete your taxes and have a small business that you run, this is the one to get! If you prepare taxes for friends, family, a few others, just don't feel the need to pay hundreds or thousands for a 'practice' level license, this is the software to get! -Experienced corporate accountant (reformed PA tax, IYKYK)

Bought the product and took over a week to get the product key. I called multiple times to get the code an NO one knew how to get it. Asked for a refund they declined to give it to me. 3 more reach outs I finally got a refund. NIGHTMARE. Buy from H&R directly!
