I have used H&R Block for years, from when it was it's own company, Tax Cut, and it would take 45 minutes to print. The instructions for the past two years have not been as good as previous, but I used the most popular program, Tax Cut, for 2021 and was so used to Block that I purchased it and used it for filing because I am more used to Block's questioning. I use it for my own taxes, and two friend's tax returns. I also depend on it's handling of partnership returns.

Good program, a few minor software issues, but software is getting more expensive every year.

The process of doing our taxes wasn't a burden. This software made filing easy and the accuracy check was super helpful.

I've used H&R Block for years and previously I've only experienced a few problems. However, this was my first time using the Business version (as I need to a return for a Trust - 1041). It would not allow me to electronically file it. When I contacted H&R Block. I was sent to multiple phone numbers and then scheduled with a tax pro. Who said they have nothing to do with s/w and could not help. Just a total waste of my time. Their support is worthless.

It is as simple as it gets to file both personal and business taxes each year with H&R Block. No need to pay for an accountant if you have 1 hour and this program. Being doing my own taxes both personal and business schedule C for over 12 years with H&R Block.

It was ok, it freezes sometimes and needs to be restarted.

Easy to download and easy to use. It draws information from previous returns if H&R Block was used in prior years.

Good tax product that I have used for the past 5 years to do my taxes with no problems

I am very disappointed. I have been using this product for more than 10 years. This year is the first time that I had to contact them for help. I spent 6 hours over 4 different calls / chat. The problem was not resolved. It is an issue with their software. I cannot enter an item and have it appear in the correct place on the 1040. as per the IRS. Their answer to me was to do an override. That is fine but I won't be able to efile. Why would I want to pay for their services?

If I could give it back, I would. It’s horrible software, won’t allow the import of the previous year, and tech support calls end at 45 mins every time. They had us rip out the previous year files including the data files and then tried to upload the 2021 data file that no longer existed. I had to start from scratch. I had already moved away from H&R for my personal return but this was such a horrible experience I will never purchase another product by H&R.
